Still Too Excited...

Movie Mania Again...
Ooh... lotsa movie screenings this week... Actually 2, but happy enough... 1st was Flight Plan, on Monday. Which I thought was pretty ok. The storyline was pretty good, as in you don't know whether there's a conspiracy or has the main character really gone mental... The next day was The Longest Yard, which was pretty good too... there was a star-studded cast, and a storyline that sounds awfully familiar. Yeah, it's a formula used millions of times, the story of an underdog team that beats the odds to win. Except the underdogs this time are actually cons... Great stuff, and quite happy to be able to go for screenings again... By the way, Sky High is next week! Yay! Kurt Russel becomes muscle-clad super dad! hohoho...

Pic from a Fellow FanA dude named Wimal took pics with me at the Results Show last Saturday... and he just posted me the pics... hee hee... It was a really exciting day, but since I've elaborated enough in my previous post, I'll not elaborate anymore. Hee hee... Like BoA said, "You're Still My No. 1!"

More Elaborate Reviews
I've decided to write at least some analysis and an actual review on songs. Because I looked at my bro's blog and saw his reviews more elaborate... lol. The first two with actually SOME kind of review are these:

http://raptorclans.multiply.com/reviews/item/26
http://raptorclans.multiply.com/reviews/item/27

I'll follow a similar format from now on... hee hee... oh yeah, and I'll have to post the songs. I'm making it a point to post the songs I review for sampling. Might do a Farah Asyikin Tribute too... Yay...

Okla, not intending to write much for now, till next time...

Genting was a Blast!

Trip to the Highlands...
The day finally came, our trip to Genting!!! Woo HOoo! It was awesome! Okay, there were alot of tension back at the start, as we had to finish our work asap, in order to leave and start our journey. There was me, my bro, Val and Eliza. Once we started, there was simply so many obstacles!!! There was a massive, super heavy jam that lasted an hour, and after that, as we were approaching Bangsar, there was a bus that broke down in the middle of a 4-way junction. You can imagine the mess... But we did make it to the highway and it was quite a fun journey up. My first time going up Genting with friends, and it was SOOO exciting! The trip pushed the car to it's limits, but luckily it had enough power... well, 2.0-litre engine carrying a 1.7 ton car with 4 people, plus their luggage and a huge banner still could run well... Reached the top quite fast, and enjoyed winding down the windows to feel the cool breeze... Checked in at First World Hotel, there were SOOO many people, but the counters were very efficient, and we got our room cards in a short period of time. We got into our rooms (which were quite close) and quickly got ready, as we heard there's a long queue into the Arena of Stars.

The Grand Result Show
The time came for the main event... the Grand Result Show of Malaysian Idol! Wow, there were soooo many people... we got quite good spots, near the 'Genting' sign that appears all the time on TV. Then there was an announcement that we had to move a few rows forward to fill up the spaces. Then we moved, and we were so excited, cos it was much nearer! There we sat, with the HUGE Farah banner that me and Val made. The show was fabulous, nothing beats watching it live on location... there were the funny acts of the Britney dude, Zombie gal and the Michael Jackson wannabe... they all made us laugh so much!!! Then the appearance of the finalists of Malaysian Idol season 1 also stunned us, as they sang together melodiously. Then the finalists of this season came out, each singing one song... Trish, Atilia, Ejay, Adam, Azam, Ash, Faizull... they all were awesome!

Oh, Farah...
After Faizull left the stage, it was Farah's turn, and I was screaming soooo loud! It was like being a lil kid again, and I didn't care that we were surrounded by loads of Nita and Daniel fans... There I was, waving my banner to her excellent rendition of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". Me and Val waved the banner together at one point of her song too... it was so much fun! Of course there was one point where Val asked me to stand up and wave. Of course, without much hesitation, I just stood up, and screamed her name with all my heart! "FARAH!!!" I guess people could tell I was a die-hard-fan... hee hee... At the end of her song, she was joined by the other finalists, and ended with a blast of fireworks... it was so awesome! Then when Jien and Cheryl were talking, I waved the banner frantically, then I could see Farah looking around, and suddenly was surprised. She waved at me after that! Wahhh~ Val saw her 'surprised' too... hee hee... She waved at me again during the performance with the 1st season finalists, and AGAIN, after Daniel was crowned Malaysian Idol... You can't imagine how happy I was... and the best was the last, I couldn't believe my eyes when she gave me a DOUBLE-THUMBS-UP! I was so happy I cried with joy! Eliza and Val were laughing at me jumping and screaming... I showed my lil idol she was still No.1, despite being 3rd... You will always get my support, keep your spirits high, and you WILL succeed, God willing... On the way out, a dude came up to me, and asked, "Are you a Farah fan?". I said "Of course!"... then he asked whether he could take a pic with me and my banner. I agreed and made a pose. He said he'll e-mail it to me... hee hee... There WERE Farah fans there, cos I saw Kuaciman and his buddies... Oh, what an amazing experience.

130+ Degrees
The car actually had problems on the way from the hotel to the Arena of Stars. Some overheating thingy, which was very odd... the temperature rose to 130+ degrees celsius. Which was extreme, given the normal temperature was 90 degrees. The bonnet was steaming, cos of the cold climate. Well, we took a lot of effort to fill up water. It appears that it was running low on water, as it was more stable after filled up. Prayed a lot, and thank God, it didn't cause anymore problems after that...

Morning in First World...
Okay... walking on our way to the First World Theme Park for breakfast, passing the lobby, I passed someone that made me so shocked that I thought I was dreaming... it was FARAH! In the SAME hotel! Wahhhh.... She was waving and greeting some of her fans who came up to her. I was going to rush to her, but she seemed like she was in a hurry and rushed out of the hotel... maybe she was late for something, I'm not sure... But I sure wished I was a few moments earlier... Val and Eliza were really nice, saying that I'll be able to meet her again someday... We went on to Marrybrown for breakfast.

Feel-Good-Time
We sure had a lot of places to go... we passed this shop which sold light-up clothes and accessories... it was way cool! So each of us bought one t-shirt, and my bro got himself a cap. Yay... Went to Snow World after that, and it was a whole load of fun! It was SUPER FREEZING, and we were hurling snow everywhere (okla, mostly me and Val at war...). We took a few pix too, with various poses, and had to be taken by their photographer... Me and Val later decided to take the Extreme Slide, which seemed like alot of fun. Then when halfway there in the queue, we saw a person sliding sown, bumping at all the corners, and literally flying off a bump... then we looked at each other and were like "Are you still up for it? Wanna back down now?" hee hee... we got down, and pretended to my bro and Eliza that "It was Awesome!"... of course my bro spotted my fakeness in a short period of time. We had a lot of fun, it was a really good experience... we only got slightly disappointed when we found out that the pics they took costed RM16 EACH! So we only took 1, and Val paid for it, despite us all wanting to share. She would later scan it and send to all of us...

Going Back Time
It all passed so soon... after a lil more shopping, a meal of Burger King, we were on our way down, we delayed it earlier due to heavy rain and fog. The trip down was quite thrilling, due to worries of overheating (which thank God didn't happen), and the fact that you could actually feel the brakes not able to grip after continuous braking for a long distance. That's when low gearing comes in... it was okay overall, it was an amazing experience, to drive down Genting in a manual car. The 155 got her first outing too... we all had a tiring, but enjoyable time this weekend, and just hope this is a first of many outing trips to come...

Photos will be posted soon in my Multiply Photos section...

Excitement

Genting Here We Come!
Ooh... the Big Day is almost here... oh boy! We'll be leaving for Genting as soon as we finish work on Saturday. Yeah, I didn't take Friday off. I was going to, just to go support Farah for the finale... but you all knew what happened of course. Now it's all set in order to support her one-lil show on Results night. Would be driving up, bringing along my bro, Val and Eliza. I'm really looking forward to it! Me and Val have been working (and still are!) on a GIANT banner. Yup, you heard me right... it's HUGE! Similar in size to most of the banners the other Farahnatics have. Was meant to be for the finale too, but it will now hold a different purpose, motivation! Which was exactly what she needs at this moment... the other Farahnatics are expected to do similar stuff, in fact there's a t-shirt too, but couldn't be finished on time. Let's hope for a wonderful weekend where the new Malaysian Idol would be crowned, and of course, I hope there's another meet-the-fans session... I wanna show her the banner. Hee hee...

Side Mirror Banging"Haiyooo...!" That's exactly what comes across my mind when yet ANOTHER motorcyclist bangs the 155's side mirror. What's the big idea with riding so fast in such a narrow space??? Haiyo... luckily didn't break, but it left a dent, and all the fella did was wave (I think that meant sorry) and chao. I was like "HAH? @@$#^!" They all just bang, cause damage and get away with it EVERY time??? 3rd time in a month! Haiyo!!! Now I understand why there was a call last time to ban motorcycles in cities. If you ask me I agree... it's a nuissance (not to mention bloody expensive - the broken glass the last time costed RM250) and it's something that just shouldn't be reoccuring. Okla, there are some who ride carefully, but come on la, no matter what, they still need to slide in between us. And they honk you when you switch lanes. Do you know how bloody difficult it is to change lanes with motorbikes zooming in between? Especially when there's an exact moment you need to change, then one bike just zooms past, then while you were waiting for him to pass, the space is already filled up by the next car. GRRROAR! Okla, mebbe I'm overexcited this morning... better go to continuing work...

My Worst Day Ever... Period

Okay... this is very ironic, and coming just a day after my most exciting day... Sometimes Malaysia, you disappoint me. Really, honest... I have nothing to comment on that.

Farah is out, but her journey has just begun...
The day finally came, Farah had the lowest votes. There was sorrow and tears at the studio, and I bet in hundreds of homes as well... I was one of them, I cried so much, I don't remember ever crying so much for someone... more than 1 and a half hours, non-stop before calming down. I am so bloody hurt, so try to be funny, laugh and I'll send you straight to your grave. Malaysia has officially voted the best performer in the show OUT. Sigh... All Farahnatics are now trying to heal the pain, but most importantly, is Farah okay? She was seen crying with her mum and sis... It was such a sad sight, and when the AV played on screen, with those well-chosen clips and sad, sad song... it simply shattered all our hearts. But Farah says she's okay. She's relieved to be out... so we all have to be strong for her, support her till the very end. Never let the Farahnatic spirit die. For now, I pray she'll get a contract from a good, respected production company... and she'll make it BIG. Probably big enough to show how wrong Malaysians were... To all those who voted because I asked, I thank you, Farah loves you all... Life must go on, and all is not lost for Farah, in fact this is when she will spread her wings, and her career path is finally opened... Go FARAH! I'm going to forever cry whenever I hear "All by Myself" from now on... And I won't forgive 8TV for cutting that final goodbye performance... I'm deciding to keep my leave and keep the tickets to the finale. I was going to make a big big banner for her, and support her in the Finale, but it seems it wasn't meant to be... So it'll be TV for me... I hope she'll be on the red carpet...

Personal Message to Farah
I even sent a message to her, it reads:
Farah, dun get disappointed. You did great. No you did excellent, astronomical, farahtastic... The Farahnatics think you are awesome and we will forever support you. Dun blame yourself, dun be disappointed. I'm sure a record company will be smart and take you in. They will be very smart to do so. You won't have any problems like before this time (after the Salem thingy...) And we will support you all the way, and your album will be No.1, I bet! Your last song was the bomb, and it's showing how mistaken people might have been. But I'll refrain from bashing, cos I know you wouldn't want any of us to do so right?

I did my best, I doubled my votes, but I guess we were outnumbered... and for that, I'm sincerely sorry... I think back and wished I had quadrupled it... but nothing can change the past right? I have not cried so much ever for another person, and I'm also glad those tears are for you. Just do your best girl, and quickly come up with an album. I'll be in the front row waiting for it... hope to see you soon again... will pray for you, may God bless your colourful journey from here onwards....

Hope you can join us and the Farahnatics and yum cha again!

Final Meet-up with Finalists at Sunway PyramidThe day before, me and Val rushed all we can after work to meet the finalists at Pyramid... we arrived rather late, and we only caught one performance, which was Farah's winning version of "All by Myself"... It's the best ever... Took lotsa photos, and calling Farah from afar, she gave us a number of waves and smiles... Val was rather active too, taking so many photos and videos with my DigiCam... Will upload them up soon... They were all great, especially that special someone...

Okla, for now I'll just calm myself down, pray (and for her too), and wish Farah all the best. I try to think of it as another stage she must past in her path to be a star, which God willing, she will be...

You'll always be my Malaysian Idol, Farah!

PEACE, and God Bless,
Aris Tee

My Most Exciting Day Ever! Period!

Oh my God... I was soooo happy on Friday... It was like God's gift to me, I thank you my Lord...

The Final Spectacular
I was so lucky... I was able to go to a Spectacular of Malaysian Idol... As a fully devoted Farahnatic, I thought this was something I could at least do once... A fellow Farahnatic, DrummerGurl, provided me with the tix, and I went with my bro (Val refused, cos of plans... but I respect her decision...) straight after work. Work was real heavy, but I did it very diligently... Val was supportive too, doing her best. She also cabut from work with me.. I was a real big rush, and it was so hectic because of an hour-long jam, which made me lose confidence in arriving on time... When we reached there, I was sooo relieved... It's so much cooler to watch in life, because there are things you dun see on TV... including ticket giveaways for the Grand Finale... There were also gags by Jien, the funniest was a screening of a TV clip which included the numbers on TV to vote. Jien spoke totally in chinese, saying something cout Farah...vote...All by Myself...33722... and Farah looked so confused... then just nodded in agreement... lol!!! That was so priceless... she's such a cute girl... I also got tickets for the Grand Finale!!!! I am sooooo happy.... I might have to take leave too, as it's on a Friday...

Live Performances
The performances that day were good... Daniel and his KRU song wasn't as convincing, but it's good nevertheless... His second song was not bad, but the judges criticised him too harshly, and I shouted "PEKAK KE?" which apparently came out even on TV, maybe not as loud... Nita was great too, with her rancak first number, and the much-talked-about "Asmaradana"... Farah was super cute and cheeky with her Ali Setan song... we were all screaming! Her next song would be the one most meaningful to her, because it's the song that won her the Talent Search she entered quite sometime back (Nita was one of the judges, I heard...). It also meant alot to her, if you heard in Diary, she once thought nobody would love her. Awww.... poor thing.... it was so touching... *take me!* Of course I supported as loud as I could (I have been all this while, haven't I?)

Farah was the BOMB!!!
Did you see that last performance of hers? All by Myself!!!! It was so awesome, so powerful... It was also the first performance this season to get a standing ovation and applause from the public! So many people, even fans of Daniel and Nita stood up, because it was clear she has shown she deserves to be in the Finale... Oh my God, I screamed so much, "Go FARAH!!! FARAHH!!!" it was incredible... I also didn't notice late that I didn't have a drink since breakfast... (it was 11pm by the time I noticed...) So the screaming led to a loss of voice... hehe... Finally met fellow forummers and Farahnatics, including lil DrummerGurl, Ostrova, Priest and Kuaciman... friendly bunch of dudes, not to mention crazy... Shows that my support isn't up to their level yet... After that last performance, we were all screaming and yelling until the judges couldn't talk... then Farah asked us politely to quieten down (awww...) and there it was, kutukan from the judges??? What the~... Of course we made some noise!!! Then Paul Moss finally said something sensible, about Farah needing a performance to save her at this stage, and that performance was just it! We were like roaring with happiness and support! All screaming and shouting! Thanks for saying that, Uncle Paul...

Meet-The-Fans Session
After that there was a meet-the-fans session, where we could meet them ourselves, and get an autograph or two... I got Farah's autograph, which she accidentally put into my notepad instead of the cover (all becaus eof the aunty that jaga the counter) but she was so nice as to do another one on my cover... with a heart and my name! Wooo.... I AM SO HAPPY!!!!! I personally congratulated her and told her she did really great tonight... She thanked me, and you can tell I'm on cloud nine by then... (Val asked me the next day, why didn't you tell her "I love you, Farah!") I even took a photo, but I wished I was more alert and taken a photo WITH her... sigh... but I hope this is the first of many encounters... There were many other contestants there too, met Atilia, Adam, Ash, Dina, Jac, Faizull, and Xerra... not to mention some of their families, and Farah's siblings and family... what an event...

Yum-Cha
That night joined Kuaciman and his Kuaci Gang to mamak, which he said Farah's gonna join later. But she was going to be late, due to some stuff goin on. My bro was wanting to go back, because it was late. If you asked me, I would have stayed all the way, however late it was... but what to do, family is important, and he has tuition the next morning. I never forget Farah asking not to neglect studies for her... So we headed home (me rather reluctantly...) and was happy for what happened, it was nice enough for me... maybe next time, maybe... maybe...

Tonight's the Night, Have You Been Voting?
Tonight, the final 2 will go to Genting for the Grand Finale... have you done your part? If you don't have a favourite contestent in the final 3, you can help make my (and Farah's) day by:

Type VOTE FARAH and send to 33722
each SMS costs 50sen

I would thank you dearly... PEACE and God Bless!

Senior Member StatusI achieved Senior Member status in the Malaysian Idol forum! hehehe... but the posts pale in comparison to mine in Italia Auto... Guess I've been campaigning too much, eh?

Cinderella Man
I must say this movie was really awesome... 2 and a half hours of excellent storytelling. It's a masterpiece. I never knew Russel Crowe was that good in acting... woo... An someone tell me how, how can a movie like this which has violence and use of language get a 'U' rating? Anyways, watch it if you haven't... The tickets we gave away were snapped up in 5 minutes, with those wanting to redeem waiting in line since 7.15pm (starts 8pm)...

Work work work...
Overworked laaa... really... all these late hours are taking a toll, I'm not getting enough rest and sleep... Later become zombie like Land of the Dead... the 'daddy' zombie yang isi petrol~ ha..ha...

Movie Week
Ok, this week's theme for Malaysian Idol is 'Movies', and Farah's planning to sing a special song... a song which won her the talent search competition last time... You can bet I'll be supporting gao gao... It's the Semi-Finals, next is the Finale... so must do my best and I ajak everyone to join in and vote if you can... (selamba ask...) I thank you in advance... hee..hee...

Farah's in the TOP 3!!!

Farah is Safe!!!
I'm so super happy! I sure had a good night sleep of relief that she's safely into the Top 3! I was worried sick that my idol was gonna be voted out, so I doubled my votes (yeah, you can safely say it was within the double-digit figure...) and also campaigned for people to vote. Primary aim was to make Farah safe, and second, bring her out of the Bottom 3 (which she has been for the last 4 weeks...) and into the top 2. And boy was I super glad when BOTH were achieved... thank you Lord! The bottom 2 were Faizull and Nita, and Faizull is finally out... leaving only 3 people! Now must maintain this momentum, and maybe increase the velocity... Go go go!

Idols at 1 Utama
I think the Lord must be really nice to me this week (and Val too, I suppose...). Well, originally I was looking forward to goin out during the weekend with Val, but some things turned up, so we postponed it. But then, on Saturday we finished early... So it was actually possible to meet the Idols in 1 Utama... so of course we rushed as fast as we could, and when we reached there, we were like, "Where's Highstreet???"... then you know what? After rounds of no parking, we found one, and it was in front of an escalator which had the words "Highstreet"... woohoo... It's just too much of a coincidence... Then when we went to the stage, we got FRONT spots, and CENTER... we could practically shake hands with the Idols... I simply couldn't explain how joyful it was to see Farah in person! She threw some of those Malaysian Idol pens... I caught it, but it slipped, YES IT SLIPPED! Noooooo! Man... and it was picked up by a Daniel fan... sob..sob... Anyway, took lotsa pics, you can see them in my Photo section... Farah apologised to us fans for not doing too well last week (we dun mind, right?) and promised to do well if she is in the next week... and she sure is! Wished I could join the meet-the-fans session... but I had to rush to get Val to church, which was of course, more important...

No HiD without Approval? BABI...
This MUST be the STUPIDEST ban ever. Period. Shit la wei... All the nations in the world are encouraging the use of Xenons due to it's better luminating of the road, safety features, lower temperatures and longer lastability. And here we are, going BACKWARD to the zaman Ford Model T... Apa ni... I was planning in the near future to pasang... well, wat to do... get approval loh... Sigh~

Savvy Mania
I'm so super happy that Savvys are increasing on the road... You can practically see it everywhere! I totally love the car, especially the Raptor-inspired looks... and so wish I could own one (of course cannot compare to my 155, she's a beauty...) The production of the automatic transmission model will also make things better, and I soooo wanna test the shiftronic transmission... The two new colors are real cool, Silver and Green... The Green one literally stopped me in my tracks while driving. Dun believe me ask Val... Awesome... something like my Beetle's cybergreen... Woohoo.. look forward to seeing more on the road...

Okla, better stop before I go overboard...

PEACE and God Bless,
Aris Tee

Bloggy Blog

Hmm.. what to say... felt a lil better lately, because of certain reasons, and also because of my buddies, Boon-Boon especially. I thank you a lot... Ok, you too Val... jangan marah... Ok, not much to blog about, so just type watever crap I want for now...

Farah's in the Top 4Okay... Farah is in the top 4 already, I did vote quite a number of times, so glad that it counted! Poor thing, she's quite low in self-esteem, expecting to be voted out... and being in the bottom 3 so many times... so as a Farahnatic, I'm telling you "You are the best! Go Farah... Wooooot! Fight Fight Fight!" Val says I'm obsessed... ha..ha.. You can say that I'm a big fan. Hoping she'll be in the grand finale...

JL Audio Installed
Installed the JL Audio component speakers, and replaced the cacat aerial with a Bosch one, excellent reception, I think it's a good investment. Val says I've suddenly become rich... oh no.... well, saved up well over the last few months, and delayed because of emergency spending on certain things. Well, happy with the surround sound now... won't be long before the "Akan Datang" CD is goin to be played in the car...

Work Work Work
Work banyak laaaa.... what is this wei... but I'm trying my best to do as much as possible, as fast as we can. Because now there's more pages, less people. If we dun finish our pages fast, we'll be going home at 8pm-plus everyday! What some people dun get is, when the pages are done, it ISN'T the end!!! There has to be the faxing process, sending through FTP, and calling the printers to make sure they know it's coming in. Miss this and everything's all screwed-up, and they'll call you to come back to rectify the problem (HATE it when that happens...). But being a responsible worker, I'll do my part, helping Val with this. No big deal really... Which reminds me, I have a long-overdue belanja-ing to do for someone... better do before it's too late and I have two hands grasping my throat...

OKla, thought of writing some other stuff, but after thinking it through, might not interest everyone, so I'll be putting it in reviews later I guess...

PEACE and God Bless,
Aris Tee

Gloomy Times... or is it Just Me?...

Life's not easy at the moment... feeling all stressed up and stuck. Sometimes wonder what all the effort is for. sigh... working life isn't that good at the moment... it's even starting to affect other things. mood not so good, dun feel like writing much, but yet, I wonder why I'm even typing...

Feeling empty for the last couple of days. Dun ask. I'm not going to even type it, cos this blog seems to have gone public. So it seems I have nowhere to just let out wat I wish to say, wat I truly feel or any problems I have... sigh. I guess I juet need time to myself to clear my mind, think of wat I did, what I'm doing and what I am going to do... I guess it's just one of those days... I'll just have to strenghten my faith, and trust the Lord to help me. rust me, I've been praying...

Even when I might consider myself having problems, after seing what Hurricane Katrina did to the people in New Orleans... the crying children, the parents who lost theirs... the people who lost their loved ones... those begging and pleaing for help, I consider myself lucky. My prayer goes to all of them, and may their suffering be lightened, bring joy back to their lives. Amen

Missed Malaysian Idol... bloody hell. Well, work has a lot to do with it, and I couldn't even watch the repeat. And the worst part was that I heard my dear Farah's in trouble... oh no... I'll be voting, that's for sure...

I'd like to ask for my friends to join me in a prayer for a friend of mine who's under pressure and stress. It might sound as though nothing can be done, but I believe with faith, God can help. So, help this friend of mine, and I'll be very appreciative. God bless you...

Sorry if this is short... I'm going to watch DVDs like Val asked me to... Maybe it'll keep my mind off my troubles... Gloominess is only temporary, it will soon pass. I know it will...

PEACE and God Bless

What a Day...

Rush Mania
What a stressful and tiring day... The reduction in workforce is definitely taking it's toll, with us doing more than our average share of pages. Poor Val had 6 pages (or more? Val correct me if I'm wrong) while I had 5 (or 6? Dun remember...) to do. With all the rushing and overlapping work (do one page, then in the midst, go back to previous one, do changes, then go open a new one, do this, then open the first one, add caption, the earlier page, article move to page 8... aarrgghh!) I think if there was better distribution (and more contribution) there would be less stress and faster work. Poor Val was so stressed that day. The feeling of being helpless and not able to help much is terrible. Wish I could do more...

Bora Ombak
I invited Val to teman me look for Bora Ombak, which is a Bali restaurant located near our office. There's a clubbing session (and teh tarik) tonight, so went looking for the place. Not bad, it wasn't that far. Ample parking, cool architecture. To add to the tiredness that we had, our printers called telling us that 7 pages had their guidelines appearing in the final print? Shit... Val has an appointment with her school friends, but she was willing to stay. But I just told her she can go, leave it all to me. Well, because she has an appointment, and summore she was so stressed today, of course I'm not letting her handle this. So I went back to office, sorted out the problem (long story, dun wanna type) and called the printers to tell them all systems go. Done. Went to Bora Ombak after that, was great, met a few new people too...

JL Audio Evolution XR650 CSi
Finally got my component speakers... met up with Firadaniel in Cyberjaya, who couldn't make it to club session because he was tired. He bought them from Subsonique, but then decided to let go of one set... Chit chatted for about and hour before going back. It was 1am++ already... finally slept at 2am (and wake up at 6...). What a day.

We'll miss you, Angi...

Angi's Last Day at Work
What an emotional day Tuesday was... well, there wasn't much crying, but you can sense the aura of sadness that Angi was leaving. Her last day of work at Malaysian Today, and she even wanted to leave quietly! No hope la... caught up with her and tarik her back. Me and Val presented her with a lil gift (which we told her was from the office). She was quite speechless, with all of us wanting to wish her good luck and all the best. There was also a short photo-taking session in which we all took photos with her and doing funny poses... One thing for sure, we'll miss her... and there's also no replacement yet for now... (when Angi's favourite song played on my playlist in the office... it was simply sad...)

Merdeka and it's a Working DayThe next day was upsetting... Merdeka day, and we had to come to work... sigh. Missed the parade on TV... instead, had to do TV Guide. And dressed up casually, because I was expecting the day to be short... Then we had a big rush, due to the reduction of workforce. Did as much as we could, trying to finish early so can go somewhere at least. Well, finished late. Not because of us... but at least we tried. Didn't go anywhere because it was late and also because we were tired. Just went back and makan...

???
What else to say... met Vinoshka today on MSN Messenger, and she claimed to not know me.. even after I sent her a pic and told her details... then after telling her this joke going a lil far, she still didn't know who I am, even after mentioning Val and Huei Weun... and started getting angry and sweared. Well, to tell the truth I'm quite hurt lo, to be forgotten by a friend... Then, guess wat happened? It was an impostor!!!! Bloody hell... but glad things are ok. Chatted with her for a while before she had to go...

OK la... nothin much else, dun feel like talking much today. Hope Val's food poisoning gets better (I know she'll cekik me for including this) and hope I can settle the JL components tonight...

PEACE and God Bless,
Aris Tee
