Gokusen Fever...

Well, first day of my new chapter... ha..ha.. sounds corny. Feels not much different, and I kinda feel guilty for not yet studying what has been given upon me. Will do, will do, and it has to be done sincerely, and one has to do so as God knows one's sincerity. Hope to discuss with Val when we have free time (it's so hard to get free time...). May God's grace guide me and lead me to the path He has set upon us. Amen.

Val got to see her idol Amy Mastura! YAY! So happy for her. And she summore wan to say dowan to go, saying got work. Haih... so I just pushed her to go, and did the rest of her work for her. Well, it's not everyday you get to have an interview with your idol. We're conducting an interview for the paper's Lifestyle section. Just wanted her to be happy, so just kelam kabut abit lar... so funny me and Angi and Calvin all rushing. But the good part is that we did well (entah how many times redo la, rearrange la, re-export la), and as soon as the stuff finished we cabut-ed!

Went MidValley Mega Mall last night, for a ramen dinner, renewing of Anime Tech membership and a CompactFlash card ... then I dropped by Tower Records to see if BoA's Girls on Top has arrived. But no, it just wasn't there... maybe not yet imported. I saw "My Name" special edition, with an extra disk of music videos. I seriously dunno why I didn't get it at that moment. Maybe because I spent quite a bit lately, so I'm saving up for now...

Watched a couple of episodes of Gokusen (the live action version). Man it's so damn cool... I've watched a few episodes of the anime, liked it alot... but when it comes to this live action, it's something different... it's faithful to the anime, they even found a girl who looks like Yamaguchi Kumiko (Yankumi), the lead character! (well, she looks kinda cuter btw, but who cares? she's awesome for the role...). Miss Fujiyama, the sexy English teacher is played by... Misaki Itoh!!!!!! YAAAYYYYY.... I sooo like this actress... but she's overshadowed by Yakumi (well, Yankumi IS the main character). Hmm... I saw a perfume poster in KLCC Isetan with her as the model. But I forgot what perfume it was! Anyway, back to Gokusen. Yankumi's way cool, especially how they portray her Yakuza influences. Her instinct also allows her to catch a baseball thrown to her from one of her hopeless students at her back. And that awesome ending to the first episode, holding a sledgehammer and smashing down a large steel door. WOWEEE.... she's hot! The cinematography is also excellent in this drama... I'd definitely recommend anyone to watch this series, although I've only downloaded the first 2 episodes...

Oh well, not much to talk basically... so that's all for now.

When light embraces you...

Wow, what an eventful week it was... a lot of real nice and meaningful things happened, there's not even enough space to say... and I'm going to cut down on my writing a lil, since Chong describes my blog as something like Daniela's journal... lol...

Went to watch Fantastic Four on Wednesday after work... yup, again... I belanja Val val cos I wanted her to haf a chance to watch it... but of course there'll be the usual berebut to pay and it all ends up as rojak (i paid, but she add add... hee hee... funny lar). We went Chicken Rice Shop too that day, and I must say the new set which allows you to choose 2 chicken types is really good value...

The next day we two went after work to Poh Kong. Not for ourselves la, for our boss. Her birthday's on Sunday, so we planned a surprise party on Friday. So Thursday was the only day left to get anythin. So the office chipped in and we bought a cute lil set of earrings (we chose it by the way, since noone could be contacted)... The part went on fine, and I was real glad Jessie liked it. I was real surprised bout her age though...

The most eventful I must say must be Sunday. Let's just say a new chapter in my spiritual life has just begun. I do think it was a little fast, but whatever it is, I trust God as my saviour, and may His grace guide me on this new journey of further searching... as I am a person who seeks God, and I thank the Lord, for I have a friend who's able to share with me. Amen.

I wanted to say more, but I did say I was making this shorter than usual... So till the next entry,

PEACE and God Bless,

The Four-Eyed Serpent Returns...

Ok, the last few days haven't been really good, lots of stress, work, mistakes, etc... Basically, the Graphics Division (us) got blasted by our sports editor for a mistake in the papers. (Actually the Chief Editor is the one giving us the scolding, but it felt like him scolding more) Well, fine. Mistakes happen, we shall improve. But what really got on my nerves was the same repeating phrase on us rushing to go back on Saturdays and making mistakes. I mean, DUH~ it's Saturday, we WANT to go back asap. Then he went on about rushing, and he said if we had any dates or plans on Saturday, CANCEL it. Fuck! What the hell? First, we're coming on almost every Saturday, despite our contract being on 2 Saturdays a month, and half day summore. And we only have Sunday as the only other rest day. Yeah, a number of the staff get Tuesday off. But not us, OKAY? Sheesh... And it was a SPELLING error, it's just not our expertise OKAY? Isn't that YOUR job? I really was going to blow up, but thanks to Val Val, she was so funny, held two CD cases fanning me and saying "cool down"... lol. I just ended up laughing... Well, she's stressed too, but she keeps inside. Kinda like me, but we have limits man. I told her and Angi, we have to support each other. And not let this experience be a barrier for us. Poor Angi, she was quite upset despite her saying she isn't... I tried what I could to make her feel better, even complimenting that her bf was sweet for sending her flowers... But no worries, we're okay the next day and continuing with working life...

Well, our office seems to be expanding quite fast in just a week... First, Amilin came in, then Calvin, then yesterday, Kelvina. Wow.. Amilin and Kelvina are sports writers by the way... But good also, we get more friends... Went KLCC yesterday with Val, Calvin and Kelvina... looking for a present for our boss Jessie (Her birthday's this Sunday)... thought of getting her a perfume, but Farah suggested she go look for something. Which is good too, since she knows her better... I went Kinokuniya! Yay! And there it was, New Release, Negima Vol.6!!! Woo... The price went up, darn, but I was so looking forward to it... so bought it. Haven't read it yet though...

Went to Mr.Liew's workshop to work out some problems with the car. Very minor actually. Got the "155" stuck back with double-sided tape. And I asked if they can sort out my fog light button. I just couldn't switch it on. But they said this is a switch problem, and they'll try to get from the kereta potong. Cheaper... Anyways, he helped press the foglight button for me, so it stuck there. Now the additional two lights of the car are back! Yay! It's back to being a four-eyed serpent...

Okla, nothing much more to say... either that or I forgot liao... Till next time then,

PEACE and God Bless,

And the bass keeps running and running and running....

Haven't written in a while again, quite lazy... hee..hee...

Been stressed and busy with work, but trying my best to handle it too... Calvin joined us at work, and I must say he's adjusting well, and I'm quite glad got another fren at work. Since he also a bit crazy crazy too, we all get along fine... lol. We're quite short on manpower, so any help is most welcome. Poor Val Val has been stressed... I won't elaborate further, but all I can say is that I'm very concerned and I'll try what I can to help... Go go go!

I'm officially a proper BoA supporter, in which I purchased her CD, the real one... no more fake ones... couldn't find Girls on Top, her latest album. Guess it's too new... anyway, got Best of Soul, which comes with a free 15-music-video DVD. I'm loving it! Well worth the buck, if you ask me... sorry bout talking too much, I'm just a big fan of BoA, and listened to almost every album. Just reached the time to be a proper fan and support her... yay!

Watched Fantastic Four, enjoyed it totally! The Thing rocks! As a long time fan of the comic, I must say I'm satisfied... Well, the invisible woman's a lil young to be like in the comic, but when you have Jessica Alba, who's to argue? Dr. Doom was cool too, but not as all-powerful-feeling as in the comics. But cool nevertheless... The Human Torch stole the show, and for some reason Mr.Fantastic just suited the role well, despite me originally thinking it was odd casting. Hope they produce a sequel, with all of them mastered their powers... yay! And bring back Doom!

Wanted to say something else, but forgot...he..he.. hope to catch a movie this Wednesday, will book soon... That's all for today,
PEACE and God Bless,

Boy, has the world moved...

Haven't written in ages, now donno wat to write, cos there's just too much to say...

Okay, still recovering from sickness, although a lot better now. Darn cough, it went untreated and infected the lungs, resulting in a bad, bad horrid experience. It was just so painful and suffering. 5 different medications and lots of praying later, I'm where I am now... Missed the office screening of Amittyville Horror... darn. DARN! Anyway, keeping myself as fit as possible for Fantastic Four. I really dowan to miss that, having been a fan of the comics and all...

Those bastard terrorists are at it again, and this time old London city has fallen victim. My prayers go out to all those innocent victims who were just on their way to work... Formula One yesterday was really awesome, with McLaren winning (My fav Juan Pablo Montoya driving). It was a much needed boost, as a British team winning at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone (The oldest track, hosted the 1st F1 race in 1950). When the national anthem played, everyone was just standing up, with their air horns, and singing God Save the Queen in full lyrics, whole-heartedly. They were just going to show that no terrorist are gonna change their way of life and instead they're now stronger, and more united. In other words, the terrorists memang BODOH. Look what mess they've got themselves into. PADAN... They did the same when they attacked the USA, tak sedar-sedar yet ke? Except pray that the British are not keen into going to war (anyway, they dunno who did it, but could possible be Al-Qaeda, the idiot Osama bin Laden punya network).

Anyway, to more peaceful things... Went to the Dreamcars MotorShow yesterday, was awesome... it was the second time coming to Malaysia, and this year's one was bout twice bigger! There were so many cars! I got to sit in 5 different Volkswagen cars. I could have made it 6 if those stupid salespeople didn't suddenly lock up the Beetle Cabriolet. And yeah, I got really pissed by an IDIOT salesman from Pioneer. I was in their smart Fortwo showcar, and trying out their touch screen, then the fella came into the car, pushed the screen away, and said "don't touch". WTF??? What's the whole point of having a test show unit if you can't actually touch it? BABI... I was so pissed off I told myself I wanted to boycott Pioneer forever! But then afterwards, this sweet and cute girl came to me and showed me the features of an audio unit. THAT'S THE WAY IT SHOULD BE DONE. You go girl! They should give you a raise and sack the bugger. Anyways, bought an R3 shirt! yay! looks so cool, with it's half-jersey and half-t-shirt material... and the Gearbox motif... Took tons of photos of the Ferrari Enzo, Pagani Zonda and Porsche Carerra GT... and took photos of the Honda That's, which is soooo cool... and so many other cars. I could just go on forever... The R3 Savvy and R3 GEN.2 was there, looking way cool and solid. The R3 Satria Stage II was also there... Okla, better stop before I go overboard...

Oh ya, Streamyx is finally installed and all ready! YAY! After 2 years of waiting, it's finally installed! The modem's warranty has voided, due to 2 years of staying in storage. But thankfully, the D-Link unit is all operational. Went on to upgrade security and antivirus definitions as well as download some anime! Hehehehehehehehe... Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid preview and Negima! episode 1.

Okla, better not talk anymore. Too much liao. Till next time...
PEACE and God Bless,

Aris Tee

Hopes of Better Days Ahead...

Hmm... things have been improving quite a bit lately... feeling kinda free and lying with the wind... :D

Okay, I've been feeling a whole lot better since leaving all my problems behind. Somehow feels more carefree and in a way, happier. Okay, a number of things happened this week, Gene and Ray have left the company. It just happened so suddenly. But luckily it didn't affect the company. We're hoping to have an additional Graphic Designer soon, as we are conducting interviews now. Calvin came, as well as Val's friend (forgot the name). There might be a few more, but not so sure. Wish all the best for them...

Angi finally un-blocked me! ;) Ha..ha.. She said she's letting me out of jail for kacau-ing her last time. Ha..ha.. I'm just happy she's treating me like a good friend again.

Val's been feeling really stressed... yesterday was quite bad, and it was mainly caused by the way things ran that day... :( This was made worse by the fact that her illness was getting worse. (Thank the Lord she went to see a doctor, FINALLY :) ) I'm not going to go into details, in order not to offend anyone, as well as her privacy. But all I can do is try to calm her down (failingly) and trying to make her smile again... Well, talked a bit to her on MSN today, glad she's feeling better...

Jess recommended me to read The Purpose Driven Life. She says it's good for people who are spiritually soul-searching like me. So I took her advice and wanted to buy a copy. But Val said she had one with her, so she lent me hers... Hope to start reading this weekend. I'm always up for a good read... yay!

The 155 has returned! Yay... fully sponsored new clutch, new brakes, radiator resevoir, wipers, polish and a number of other things, dun remember... Drives like it was brand new! Clutch feels a lil like Myvi now... he..he..

Okla, that's all for today. Till next time,
PEACE and God Bless,

Aris Tee
