Life...

Life's pretty hectic, been busy sending and fetching brothers from school and tuition classes... sigh... Applied for job in a number of places, still awaiting calls... x_x Hopefully I'll get a nice job somewhere...

Redesigned my Juara Club logo... Just slight revisions, making it look neater and nicer. Hope to have t-shirts and cards printed soon, so that the next time Proton organizes an event, we'll look like a club :-D Go visit our Juara Club Site at http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/protonjuara Hopefully I'll get a domain name for the group, but that'll also mean making the site from scratch, and not relying on Yahoo!...

Now playing Final Fantasy VII... Somehow managed to make it run on my computer... so playing Cloud, Barett and Tifa now ;-p

Finished watching my Po Po Tan and Comic Party DVDs...

*The following may contain SPOILERS of the Po Po Tan and Comic Party anime)

Po Po Tan had a kinda weird ending... happy but sad at the same time... I like the character Meia, the maid (Time Travel Guardian). She's real cool, and can make you laugh despite being dead serious... To tell the truth, the whole anime doesn't make much sense in the end... :-(

Comic Party was pretty good, but in my opinion, the manga was way better, in terms of art and story... the anime kinda ran away from the original storyline, and the characters are obviously based on the manga, but have some differences. Kazuki, the main character, looks real awful and makes you wanna hate him... dunno, just my view :-D Love Yuu of course, she's real cute and cool... and also the dumb Taishi, chanel handbags who's actualy kinda likeable. A personal favourite in the anime is Ohba Eimi, the irritating self-published manga artist... she's cute! But very insensitive to people's feelings... The ending's pretty open, maybe so that the viewer can imagine something on their own... or maybe a sequel? I can only hope :-D I'll be continuing the manga then... if I can find them, that is...

Oh well... what else to say... me feeling rather up and down lately... and believe me I dun like it... wish I could have a friend to talk to about it... :( sigh... anyways, till the next blog, PEACE and God Bless...

Festivals, Events and News...

Sorry for the lack of updating... I'll try my best :p

Chinese New Year came and went, it was real nice as I always look forward to family reunions as well as oh-so-wonderful grandma's cooking :D This year's celebrations were a little special, as it's the first time in 30-something years in which the Chinese New Year is celebrated back to back with the Muslim New Year of Awal Muharram. Watched a lotta TV, had visits from guests, angbao and all... visited temple and paid respects to grandpa. Miss him a lot... My uncle bought me an air horn for my car... totally awesome!

Valentine's day came too... and of course, me as usual have no idea what to do on this day... I also made the silly decision to visit Times Square on Valentine's... Dun get me wrong, I LOVE Times Square, but seeing couples holding hands and smooching at every corner really brings me down to the floor... sigh... Went to Anime Tech, as they had a Valentine's promotion... Bought Mohoromatic Second Season for 20% less, and got a RM8+ Totoro keychain for free :-D now if only I had someone to give it to... sigh... anyway, I felt kinda down for much of the month, chanel handbags and stress seems to have caught up with me... I had a facial outbreak, which I haven't had in ages, but thankfully was controlled with facial wash (hee hee)... lost some hair too (but I seem to always do... need to take care of myself x_x My friend was there to console me online... You know who you are, and I'm grateful. Her advice is really good, although she might not admit it...

Ok.... Project 155 has had some new input... in addition to the nice red airhorns, there's new rubber mats! yippeee.... and also had to change the low lamps due to burn. Changed to Michiba bulbs... This is added to the current list which includes PIAA headlamps, PIAA silicone wiper blades and SPARCO gearknob. Wonder when can I get a job... need to earn myself money if I intend to get myself an Alpine head unit...

My comic is halted for the time being... Currently it has about 13 characters and a basic storyline, but needs refinement as well as proper development. I'm working on a mini comic first, with the two main characters roughly sketched out... will give more info soon... hee hee... I hope to have the flow going by doing this comic, and get used to the momentum of drawing, since it's been years since I did comics...

News Updates coming up...

Events events... a few significant car launches soon... end of February or early March would signal the launch of the long-awaited Proton Tiara replacement model... Rumored to be called the "Proton Sassy", I think it looks pretty ok... May would be the launch of Perodua's version of the Daihatsu Boon/Toyota Passo... and July the launch of the Proton Satria replacement model... the end of the year would (hopefully) reveal the next Proton Satria GTi. And adding to this, Proton is going to have it's own SUPERCAR, and rumored to be launched at the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix in Sepang... F1! I wanna go...

As for movies, the last one I watched was Racing Stripes... pretty cool movie, very heartwarming. I like the zebra :-D I wanna watch Constantine and Elektra... wow, comic book fever eh? And of course, Star Wars Episode III... how can I miss that?

OK, my Transformers comic producers Dreamwave has closed its doors... sigh, what a pity... I love their art, and I hope new owners Devil's Due will continue them... Transformers the Movie will be produced by Steven Spielberg! yay! Due 2006 or 2007...

Been reading a lotta manga recently too... Read Full Metal Panic 1-3, Negima! 1-2, Comic Party 1-2, GUNNM Last Order 1-2 and A.I. Love You... I heard Japan is screening the animated version of Negima! in January... if there's one anime I look forward to, it's that... pray that's it'll be faithful to the comic... GUNNM the movie is also due in 2006, we all can look forward to that... I have faith in you, James Cameron! And I hope ADV and the LOTR studio doesn't spoil Neon Genesis Evangelion, also due in 2006...

Has anyone heard of Duke Nukem Forever? lol... Originally stared for release in 1998, the game is said to be due in November 2005... let's see then...

Oh well, I do blabber a lot, don't I? Well, that's how I keep myself from being upset from my problems... made a few new friends, mostly online. I hope to know them better, as most of those who know me might know, I'm just someone who loves making friends... Till the next blog then,

PEACE and God Bless!
