Okay, I haven't been writing as frequently as I normally do... It's either because i'm busy or I'm plain lazy to write... hey, it rhymes!
Okay, went for a date with Jess yesterday. Haven't met her for quite a while, so we just made spontaneous plans on MSN Messenger and just went with it. Wanted to watch a movie but there were none available. All were fully booked! Awful... But we told ourselves we'll catch one some day... Btw, went to Secret Recipe, had a nice meal and shared an Oreo Cheese Cake... then we went on and on chatting and chatting, catching up. Hmm...maybe it's not a good idea writing too much, not knowing who's reading. So I'll just leave the moment in my memory ;)
Poor Val has been not well for the last few days... but she kept on coming to work and all, really made me worried. Especially when she says it's okay, but when you look at her it's obvious it's not. She's still unwell today, so I'm supplying Strepsils to her... lol. Should get her proper medication, since she just isn't going to the doctor... Poor girl...
Me and Angi cringing, cos after Ray leaves end of this month, we'll be short of a designer... well, hope to find someone to help us out. So anybody interested? just contact me... Heard Diana's interested, as well as Calvin. We'll just have to wait and see then... I just hope it's someone who'd be okay to work with and friendly too, not someone who'd just ignore you and talk to other people. Well, there are people like that...
Work's been really tough lately... can really get you all stressed up. There's pressure and we're always rushing for print times... Anyways, I attended a meeting a few days back (a first for me) and we discussed on ways to improve the way we were working and how to avoid having to rush all the time. There were suggestions and possible solutions, but we'll have to wait till later July to see effects...
Anyway, that's all for now, till next post,
PEACE and God Bless,

Office Stress...
The last few days have been really stressful. And I mean REALLY... They're taking a toll on most of us, and it's as if the feng shui guide is telling the truth in which this month will be dangerous and highly stressful in the workplace. Well, just to play safe, I'll follow what it says, which is just be tolerant of people this month and DO NOT lose your temper. I suggest my friends to do the same. Poor Val's really stressed too, and I can see that she's just keeping it, so i really feel sorry for her. So all I can do is to swap work or take over some stuff to lessen the burden. There are times that you might get annoyed by some work, and at others, you might get upset when a certain design you spent lotsa time on is changed (not for better, but for worse)... sigh. I tell myself, patience, patience...
Okay, there were a couple of days which me and Val had one too many burgers... now kinda sien... ha..ha.. but nothing's gonna stop our loving for fast food... there was one day we had KFC fot lunch, then Burger King for dinner... wahhh~ but somehow got longing for chee cheong fun after see her eat that day
Okay, it's confirmed that Evelyn's for sale. But I hope to get a buyer who's take care of her and not use her for spare parts or some sick art piece. Because so much love and care was poured to reache what she is today. In case you wanted to see the ad:-

Movie Mania
Last week was pretty fine, and the weekend was a bit of a rush, due to the printers letting me know that a few pages didn't reach them. So I had to rush back to the office (Saturday Night Fever, mind you) and burn a CD for them. Everything was done by 8pm... phew... but there went my Saturday. I was real tired after all the rush...
Sunday went to watch Mr. & Mrs. Smith. It was really great, it's more of a comedy, so don't expect any 'truly' violent scenes. *Dun worry, I'm not inserting spoilers...* But it sure was action-packed to the brim. Of course there were some obvious product placements (of course, big budget) like Tissot, and there were some of the most cool-looking driving scenes. chanel handbags And the cars... wow, the cars... The Triplet BMW M5s were awesome, as well as the Chrysler Voyager... and check out the Mercedes C-Class and the Caddilac CTS that those two drive... And not to mention the two leads were dead hot... Oh well, I'll write more later then, if I write spoilers Val will kill me...
Yesterday we could go back early! It was too good to be true! It's phenomenal! Ok, I'm overreacting... well, since Imran's not back yet, we dun have any Lifestyle pages to do at the moment, so we were allowed to go back at 4 something... yippie! Me and Val decided to go shopping at Times Square... he...he... We got ourselves some DVDs to watch, and jalan-jalan around looking for stuffs of interest... Even had time to have a shake at McD... Val had a float, and we just sat there, chit-chat and watch rollercoasters. Funny really... but it was a good opportunity to have an outing, since we're always stuffed in the office...
Today we're watching Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy (H2G2) at Nokia presents Starlight Cinema... hooray... wonder what's it like... hope we can finish the pages as early as we can so we can leave to get a good space... I brought a mat as well, so we can sit nicely on the grass... he..he.. so excited...
That's all for today,

Packed Days and Oddities...
The last few days I haven't been writing that much... one is because I'm busy, and one more is because lazy at times...
Ok, last week was pretty busy... went to KLCC to see Hanak perform on their last day. It was really nice, and we were worried that Malaysians were the sort of people who like to watch but not buy. But after they played some familiar tunes, you can see people rushing to buy their albums... Which was good... I hope they come to Malaysia again, as this is the second time we are seeing them here.
I'm pretty happy with the "new look" Multiply. It's kinda neat, and the color schemes are real cool.... And best of all, no limit on photos (although 150 a month), and you can now submit movies and songs! Yay... But sad that the movies section has a 50mb limit... Anyway, go watch the He-Man movie and song that I've uploaded...hehe...
Last Sunday there was the MAPCU finale in which me and Val, together with the two interns Markus and Gene went bowling, representing Malaysian Today. It was really fun, not to mention funny... we had to go against HELP, Metropolitan, Sunway and KLIUC... We didn't win, but not that far behind la. Val was the terror queen of the bowling alley. She's very consistent with the scores. Unlike me, can strike, then next one can get 0... ha..ha.. was a real nice day...
Ok, work's been really stressful lately, and this doesn't affect only me, even Angi and Val too. But I was rather worried bout Val yesterday. She seemed so stessed out. All I could do was offer help in any way I can... somehow I wished I could do more... Anyways, chanel handbags when we're not stressed, things are much better. It's been a really funny week, with Angi immitating cartoon characters and Val being...well... funny... ha..ha.. She is really a lotta fun, and being with people like these makes your day less stressful... We celebrated Imran's birthday too, early, cos he's going to Bali... ordered the caramel fresh cream, was really really nice~
The Bug's brakes got jammed, the rear, driver's side. This caused an increase in fuel consumption as well as less power in acceleration. But I went to the mechanic and they diagnosed it very quickly and removed the drums. Yup... it was smoking heavily... phew... Changed it, and Mr. Liew even adjusted the handbrakes. Now it's top notch! Yeah~
Oh well, dowan to talk so much, later Val complain... That's all for now,
PEACE and God Bless,
Aris Tee

Hectic Day, Hot and Spicy and Michael Jackson's Free!
Yesterday sure was tiring and exhausting. It was quite a stressful day overall and I'm sure Val and Angi would agree. There was so much rush and the paper was late off to the press. There was confusion over who's article is who's responsibility, and I had family members who had problems with the car. Yeah, the Juara had a leak. Not really major, but I managed to call the mechanic (who was not there btw, and I had to contact Ah Seng) and he went and took the car to the workshop. Then there was more rush about work and me and Val had our stomachs grumbling. yUp, chanel handbags didn't have our lunch yet, and time was approaching 6pm... wah~
Went to KFC after that with Val. Was quite a relief. lol... Had the Hot and Spicy, so glad that it's back... Val ordered the same. Sounds like the ad on the radio. "No matter what our differences, Hot and Spicy is still everyone's favourite". Ha.. ha.. now I've become a promoter for KFC. Okla, enuff... It was nice, *COLD* (right, Val?) and we chit chat until it was time to go home. Laughing at all the stress we faced today. Val sure is a nice person, she's my best friend at work and I find her really fun and understanding. ha..ha... I thank God very much for introducing such a person to me.
What other news... Michael Jackson's free! Yay... I haven't read the news so I have nothing to say. So there.
Thinking of getting Marion Raven's album. But like Val said, buy only if you really really want it... Hmm... Well, I am a fan, and I dun care what people who hate her say (when you like someone's music it's a personal choice right, cause I know a lotta people dun like her), and I saw the album in stores already. Well, better to wait and think it over right?
Oh well, nothing much else to say... the 155 has gone to the workshop for some upgrading and repairs, would be back at the end of the month... I hope. Putting aside my woofer project for a while. The boss of the audio shop gave me a rather attractive offer, but I'd rather save the money first, use for more important matters as well as for savings.
Well, that's all for now, till next time,

08.06.2005 Proton Savvy Launch - D.DAY
Been rather busy the last few days. Work comes non-stop, but thankfully yesterday was quite okay. For the first time in quite a while, we managed to finish the pages early, so we could also get home early... hehe... Val's back too since Monday, and I admit it's more fun with her around. hehe... All those joking around and funny stuff we do, and she's really helpful when I'm stuck with a page. I admit I can do the layout, just like she said, I need to try 'slowly'... ha..ha... sure can wan... must prove that I can do it. Angi's just like herself, and also checking on the dummy pages for errors once in a while. chanel handbags All because of last week's experience. Funny la she, even have time to take up new classes as well... dunno how she cope.Okay, at least those rush days of last week are over, now things are getting to be more like normal. But the good thing is that I gained some good experience that can help me in the future... (and also help Val... ha..ha...)
Since yesterday was quite short, I went to Kinokuniya on the way back (yay!) to get the Star Wars:Visionaries book I've been looking for. Yup, found it, last unit available... went to the counter to buy, and the girl said that I'll get a 20% discount if I buy something else to add to it. So I grabbed the latest Lime (can use for page layout reference) and the overall price of both items is cheaper than the book itself! Woo hoo... and to add to that, I received a 10% discount voucher for my next purchase at Kinokuniya... wow...what a day... on my way down the escalator, I heard some nice, familiar flute music playing. I turned around and I saw what I imagined it was. It was Hanak! They're back in Malaysia and performing in front of Tower Records! They have new CDs to promote too... I asked them how long are they gonna be here, and they mentioned "one week". Okie, I'll be coming back again I guess... ha..ha...
Okay, today is the official launch of the Proton Savvy, D.Day and I'm so excited. Following up on the development progress of a car for almost two years really makes you wanna see how it turns out. This is going to be the first Proton to have been monitored by TUV, and we'll see if Volkswagen managed to improve some things. Well, from the spy photos, the dash looks like something out of a BMW or Range Rover. But lower scale of course. The design's real neat, with influences from MINI, Alfa Romeo, Citroen, BMW and Volkwsagen. Engine's a punchy 1.2 unit from the Renault Clio, which itself is a great car. Interior's real spacious, and the sides of the car are inspired by the Alfa Romeo 145. Which makes you wonder whether the designers at Proton are Alfa fans... Body's the strongest in it's class, and made using galvanized steel... I'm not gonna get the car anyway (still paying installments for the 155) but I'm liking it all the same. Anyway, lets hope this car makes it big... Here's to the launch tonight! Cheers...

Busiest Day at Work So Far...
Yesterday was an exhausting day... I became acting Art Director, it was hell of a big responsibility, but I was confident and handled the post as well as I can. Allan had to go to the hospital for a checkup due to a recent accident he had. There were a few times which I wanted to call Val, but I thought to myself, nah... she's having her well-deserved break, and I dun want her to get disrupted with office affairs. Besides, I want her to be proud of me (heh...heh...) So I'm taking in Allan and Val's place, and it was really tough. But I needed this opportunity to show what i can do. And also a lil like training, so I can help Val more on other days... It sure was a long day, with the pages going out a few hours late (3 I think) because I was double and triple checking them, and calling up the press to solve some mistaken pages of the previous day. There were numerous text mistakes, louis vuitton handbags caption mistakes, indent mistakes, date mistakes, in-line mistakes, even headline mistakes! But it was all sorted out, all the way till 8pm... Eric was walking around, bugging me... haiyoh... Finished them up, exported to PDF, copied to the new pen drive Jessie just bought and sent them off to print. Phew... And today I had to give summary to Tony about why the pages had to be sent off late yesterday. Dunno he's joking or serious. I just explained what happened and what should be done. And if Allan doesn't come again today, I'll still be in charge... aikk...
Ok, what else... Proton's new car, the TRM, is confirmed to have the name Proton Savvy. This is confirmed thru an ad gained from Proton sources (You can see in my photo album...). The ad uses a comic-inspired theme, which explains why the ads online and in the newspapers have speech bubbles and comic typefaces. The Savvy is shown wearing a cape, something like what Superman wears, and has the tagline is "Built Tougher Than You Think"... Perhaps to emphasize on the car's strength, since it's supposed to boast a galvanized bodyshell and strongest body in it's class. And power comes from the latest Renault Clio engine, which is proven to be a really advanced powertrain, coupled with tiptronic transmission... Well, have to wait and see how it turns out... Everyone knows how it looks like already
Hmm... what else... nothing much, just have to get back to work soon, Angi's still blocking me, dunno when wanna un-block. What la she... When want to call her have to go to her only can talk... cannot shortcut and message (too lazy liao). Hehe... no la, I'm not upset or anything. Just weird that kena block by someone. Val's not here till next week, so workload's gonna be a lil heavy for the next few days... There's two interns working here too, might give Terence a much-deserved-break...
Till next update,
PEACE and God Bless,
