Viva Viewing

Light up your Sunday Nites
Managed to catch KL Lights last night, because of the hype and partially also because Farah asked me before... It actually wasn't too bad. The storylines are quite interesting, I quite like the idea of a story on writers. The effects and unconventional way of portraying someone's thoughts reminds one of days of Ally McBeal. It works well in my opinion. I did find myself laughing often during the show. Acting in my opinion has lots of room to improve, as some actors are more natural than others. But it's ok for a start imho. We actually should produce more sitcoms like this. There is a certain lacking of well-made local shows in the market (well there's one coming, starring 'someone'... hehe) and any new one should be a welcome addition. KL Lights has only reached it's 4th episode, so it's not too late to catch it, Sunday nights at 10.00pm on 8TV.

3D Mania
Saw the trailer of Cars, The Wild, Over the Hedge... they're awesomely super! Or put in a word, breathtaking. Not forgetting the one currently in the market, Ice Age 2... that's totally awesome too! The level of detail in 3d animated movies have reached a level unimaginable even in recent years. And they're just gonna get better! James Cameron's hyped live-action version of Battle Angel Alita (GUNNM) is going to use an advanced 3D camera that's 1st of it's kind, and July next year Transformers are gonna rock the box office with jaw-dropping effects. These movies are expected to employ the latest and most advanced in 3D technology. Definitely looking forward to that. But bringing it closer to the present, Superman Returns will be showing on IMAX in 3D. So that's where I'm heading... hehe... Hope that there will still be a balance of actors vs CGi in the movie market though. All-3D is kind of sic. Too much of a good thing is never good...

Oh well... taking any chances I have to catch any of these... with today's busy schedules, it's getting increasingly hard to find time for a good viewing...

PEACE and God Bless,
