Calls and Meals...

Why Are You Calling?
Hehe... went for screening again on Monday. It was "When a Stranger Calls". Invited Farah to come too, but she couldn't make it. Well, she needs rest as well as to spend time with her family, so it's ok. :) The movie was laughably translated as "Apabila Seorang Yang Tidak Dikenali Memanggil"... lol! It was a pretty decent thriller. The main scare is not really that visible, giving it a sense of disturbance and creepiness. The story revolves around a central character, Jill, who is a babysitter to the children of a really wealthy couple who own this HUGE and beautiful house. She gets all these prank calls (some are pretty disturbing, and at other times annoying) from an anonymous caller. It's disturbing cos how on Earth would someone get the number? Haha... for the rest you better catch it yourself. It has a rather nice ending though. Hee hee... Oh ya, the main actress, Camilla Belle, is seriously cute! The story is really centered around her, so you really see her alot throughout the movie.

Jam in da Office!
Looks like we're facing an increase in staff at work... I've never seen a situation where there wasn't enough space to park inside the office compund... There were more than 13 or 14 cars... I had to double park in front of some colleague's cars till someone leaves. Hehe...

Lunch @ Rahsia
Had lunch at Rahsia on Tuesday. It was a treat by our colleague Husin. It was hidden in the depths of Jalan Damai, Ampang, and is owned by Ning Baizura. Ning even has some dishes to her credit... Namely N.I.N.G (basically curry mee) and fried rice. I tried the Secret Duck, which was pretty nice. There were lots of unique dishes, everyone sort of had a bit of each other's. Val and Lin each had some form of chicken, while Valv had the same as mine... It was ok overall, but not that unique. The dessert was good... especially the apple crumble I had. Superbly nice and crunchy, not that sweet... wow.

Moroccan Feast
Went to S.A. Marrakech at Lucky Garden, Bangsar for dinner. At night, S.A. Marrakech turns into a totally different restaurant, with middle-eastern and Moroccan food. It was seriously good... went with my family, my mum and bros. We had a mix of lamb, chicken and brinjal dishes, with lebanese bread to go. It was super! In fact, it was so good that I forgot to take photos... took one on the way down. The place had such nice atmosphere, with the beautiful tiling and walls, and the middle-eastern music. A definite must-try!

Mutated Characters!
Saw this at Baker's Cottage, just beside S.A. Marrakech. It was so funny I just had to snap it. It's actually a type of icing decor to put on a cake. Hehehe...
