Slightly late, but I'd like to wish YuRi (the Black Pearl) of SNSD a happy 19th birthday! She's my current fav member of the band (2nd tallest too), an actress-singer-dancer extraodinaire and she's actually 18 if we calculate the same way we count the ages of you and me...

Black & Bling Gala
This was the grand nite everyone was waiting for... everyone's dressed up full of bling and glamor. I heard the MT staff said this event was different because this was for once, our very own. But I had to admit that I was one of those who had doubts about the event, and ended up enjoying it a lot. There were over a thousand people and it was helluva loud~
Too bad none of us could win any of the wonderful prizes... I really wanted to cart the 32" LG into the Juara... lol!
It was a fun nite indeed where I got to know lotsa new and interesting people, many of whom were tons of fun. Lotsa old friends and colleagues were there too, like Adrian, Ellie, Val, Lin, Angi, etc...
I was pretty excited when I heard a rumor that Carmen Soo was going to replace Amber Chia who couldn't attend, but even after it became clear that she wasn't coming (edit:apparently she WAS there!), I wasn't upset at all as I got to know Jodie, who's probably the most gorgeously sweet gurl I've ever met~
The most fun was when the event went on to full party mode and we all just partied all night long like crazy, complete with mad antics like tying thongs on heads,
spiked drinks (cos you just don't know what's in it when they ask you to finish it),
people getting high (lol look at Joseph)
and getting your drinks mixed up with someone else's (it was dark and I couldn't make out what was what and I had to "cover-line" as well). Yeah it was rilly dark!
Oh ya, one of my fav models, Sharon Yeoh was there too, but I didn't manage to meet her (but it didn't really matter now, rite?) Hopefully there'll be other chances...
Oh, and this is Lisa, dancing with Lee John. She's kinda cute, got to know her (well, hardly) towards the end of the party around 3am... too bad I was dizzy and worn out, couldn't dance with her... (feel bad now) ;p

Genius Solution
A lot of work had to be done in preparation for Black & Bling, but the funniest has got to be the process of transporting the 800+ bags from our 3rd floor office down to Lower Ground. Using only yarn, we manage to slip them all down the conference room window. I'll let these videos and photos do the talking~
