Busy Busy Days
Starting off the 2nd week of the year with more back-dated blogging... I know this post is old, but bear with me... hehe...
Help Find Sharlinie
I somehow had to do my part. She has been missing for 2 weeks already! If anyone has any info on the wherabouts of little Sharlinie who went missing do contact the numbers below (Source : NST Online) :

I hope they find her soon, saddens me to see her family so sad like this...
We really do not want another Nurin case...
Models Mag Showcase @ Ruums
Recently attended the showcase and launch of Models Magazine at Ruums KL (yeah, OK, that wasn't so recent but I haven't actually blogged bout it!) and helped support Leng Yein. It was a nice event with each of the new faces trying their hand on the catwalk. Well, too bad the SLR died last minute, had to resort to a borrowed DigiCam.

Street Shoot in KLAttended the last street shoot of the year organised by PhotoMalaysia and it was lotsa fun. We went about trying to shoot interesting subjects or find unusual scenes in the busy streets of KL. I brought along half a roll of color film and a full roll of black & white, which I guess was quite enough. I didn't have the flexibility of digital SLRs, so I had to make sure every shot count (there were still errors though).

Revoltech Fraulein ReiAyanami Rei Revoltech recently arrived at Kelly's shop, so I went to pick it up (I think it's sold out now, luckily I preordered). It's really cool and seems like a step up from the usual Revoltech figures (albeit a lil fragile). Can't wait for Asuka!
11-Hour Train RideHad a wonderful train ride recently, travelling from Alor Star to KL Sentral at night. Took 11 hours and it was a lotta fun exploring the coaches and taking tons of photos... too bad the same couldn't be said about the food.

Nikon Speedlight SB-80DX
Most expensive accessory for my SLR yet, I recently purchased the Nikon SB-80DX speedlight 2nd hand and I love it. It's in rilly good condition and surprisingly bears a huge resemblance to it's replacement, the hi-tech Nikon SB-800. I managed to save money as I'm still using film and hence no need for most of the features of the SB-800...
Boon & Chong in KL
My best buddies and pet siblings Boon & Chong were here in KL to help register their lil sis Yee Sin into college. There was a lotta rush and running around, but thankfully all went well. We also managed to have mini reunions and met up with lots of old friends, some haven't seen each-other for more than 5 years~
Also introduced them to puri at Sri Paandi restaurant~

New DigiCam Case
Got myself a new DigiCam case for the T30, this one doesn't have a magnetic flap, so no more "switching on by accident" cases... It's pretty cheap, offers decent protection and looks like an official product. Hehe...
Giant Lion
Oh, and in case anyone's wondering what's the status of the Giant Lion at Times Square, here it is, all ready for CNY~
Samsung F330
Last but not least, I recently got a hold of a red version of the Samsung F330 at a shop in LowYat Plaza... Just fiddled with it a bit. I've tried the original white and blue one, but this is the red version. Somehow I wasn't able to use it, and since it was so new, even the shop fella wasn't sure how to use it either. I just had the feeling something was locked or it was in music mode. It's rilly cool, but I wish the red was on the keypad inside like the version BoA used in the Anycall video... hmm... wait a minute, I haven't blogged bout that... maybe later. Anyways this phone is totally kickass and one of the most, if not THE most stylish phone in the market right now.
OKla, I have tons more to write, but I'll have to save it for the next entry as this one's getting long AND outdated.
PEACE and God Bless,
Aris
