Popeyes Pay Day

Yo peeps, I'm sure most of you should be excited by now and you know why? Cause Labour Day's here again! Yay! Well, okay, some of us (like me! sobs~) still have to work but that doesn't mean you can't make yourself happy with a treat. Most of us should be getting our pay by now and what's better than getting your pay at the end of the month? Well, getting another pay from Popeyes!



Okay, that was quite a silly pun. But yeah Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen would like to lessen the load of spending all your income on Labour Day with their Pay Day special promotion. That's right, on May 1st and May 1st only, you can purchase five pieces of their signature Bonafide chicken for only RM8.99, instead of the usual price of RM15.45!



Pay Day special is actually something Popeyes does each year in all its stores in the States since 2009, and it has drawn great response year after year. And since it's only on for one day, don't miss out on this at any of their nine outlets... I'm serious!

For those unfamiliar with Popeyes, it'll be interesting to know that their chicken are hand-battered and marinated for 12 hours, ensuring all the Louisiana seasoning, flavour and authentic Cajun spices are sealed into the goodness you get from each bite. Those who have tried the chicken would know that its not as oily as most fast food fried chicken and there's that slight kick of flavour. Many would agree with me that the chicken shouldn't be eaten with ketchup or chilli sauce as it disrupts the flavour of the chicken.
