Wheeeeeeeeeeee~

I guess I've been lifted up this morning... "u md my day ;)" yeah, so did u... :) Such a nice feeling to start the morning. Ok, lotsa stuff to catch up on... Let's start somewhere...

Superman Rox!Managed to catch the premiere screening of Superman Returns, and I must say the movie rocked, the whole length of the 2-and-a-half-hour-long movie. This one has lots of emotion, more action and moreover, it's Superman seen in a whole new way. The way it could have only been imagined decades ago... The hovering, seemless flight, the tremendous showing of power, the sensational feel of speed (check out the sonic boom!)... this is Superman in a way you're never experienced before. And for Lex, haha... the villain we all love to hate. He's alot darker, more evil this time around, louis vuitton handbags but he's always dressed to kill, oozing with cool-ness. Lois on the other hand, big change in character in her... no longer that clumsy, more serious, and actually able to let Superman go. Well perhaps being a mum changed her. But gosh, this movie is so good, the storyline is the bomb... sure some super-purists will not agree on stuff like the costume, but even a big fan like me was impressed, and ended up cheering at the airplane scene, which I must say was among the best combination of emotion and effects I've ever seen. Shouldn't go too much into it, but everyone and I mean EVERYONE SHOULD watch Superman Returns. (Marlon Brando even has an appearance!) Kudos to Singer for making Superman the movie he deserves. Excellent follow-up to Superman II with Christopher Reeve.

Fun @ The Curve
Ok this is a really old thingy, but I guess I'll just have a mention on it... We went to The Curve recently for TM Net's Bluehyppo concert... Mainly to catch Fifi's performance, but there were also V.E., Ruffedge, and a couple of others... Munchie was wild and cute as usual, sporting a new tan from her recent trip to Bangkok. She looked so pretty that day.... It was pretty fun, and Farah was the highlight of course. She looked real tired. She didn't get enough sleep the night before. After the show it was so funny that we were advising each other to get enough sleep. Well, split later on as she went on to Join Elisha who just came back from the UK. Me, Ulee, Joosing, Vashan, David and Jeremy went to Di Kayu for a drink after that. Had the most interesting dish... Roti Tisu Di Kayu Special... it was more than a metre tall, and tasted wonderful. All of us were able to share it... super! It was quite a fun-filled day, more of the pics here http://raptorclans.multiply.com/photos/album/50

TF Trailer is out!
Yup, everyone should have heard by now... it's in the papers, mags, etc... The teaser trailer for Transformers : The Movie is out. You can't really see much, but Michael Bay says that nothing will make it into the movie. It's like something to stir up excitement, something like Spiderman's World Trade Center teaser...

Farah is da Bomb with Pupus
Yup, those who caught One in a Million last Friday wouldn't have missed Farah's superb performance. Now that the episode has aired, no more hiding spoilers. Hehe... she was down with flu and sore throat, and wasn't well up to the time she went up the stage. Miraculously, her running nose stopped. She performed her version of 'Pupus' by Dewa19... and what a rendition it was. It had much more depth than the original, and if there is a person who can sing better than an original, it would be Fifi. She made it her own, with lots of emotion and summed it up with a really smart ending. It may be the shortest performance at 1 minute plus, but I reckon it was among the best that night. Went she went into chorus and the excellent crescendo, i almost went to tears as I was simply so proud of her. She has come a long way, and from what I saw, she's already worth more than a million bucks. It sounds super in live. Seriously... somehow alot of the contestants' performances paled a bit when it went on tv... Anyhow, hoping Cindy and Ching can get through into the Top-12 tonight. Here's hoping... As for Fifi, I'm wif you all the way...
