Goodness gracious... I haven't posted in ages... so much to tell, so little time... Ok, better start then...
Chong Visits KL
Yay!!! My best friend visits KL, who wouldn't be excited if you finally get to see the fella after 2 long years... Woohoo... he came wif his dad and stayed at Cititel @ MidValley. It was so much fun to have him around. Like he said, it was as if the 2 years never passed, it was like old times, as if we never were separated and the days just continued... gosh, how I miss him around to hang out with (and Boon-Boon too...).
Went to Limkokwing to get his cert (yeah finally!) but as usual, they had to delay it, and for hours! Goodness... met Daniela too. Miss her lots. She said we both didn't change at all. And she noticed my red hair! hahaha....
After we finally got the cert, we went shopping! Gosh, 3 days of shopping... and yeah, Chong, your dad's so hyper... can run wor. hee hee... okla, I wun go into details of the shopping. But I sure had a great time... I took leave in order to make sure I can spend more time wif them. I ajak Chong to go to the One in a Million show so I could intro him to Farah, but he didn't want...
The last day came all too fast. Went to the new terminal at KLIA, it was for budget airlines, but they shouldn't have made it so budget-looking. Kesian the Air Asia folks... anyways, had a McD meal and I set off, hugging them bye-bye. It was just so fast, wish days like these could last. I guess till the next time we meet, either in KL or Miri...
See la Chong! I told you we shud have taken more photos... lol
Hit Me Baby One More Time
Yeah, the Top-12 show came, and Fifi actually chose to sing "Baby One More Time". I heard her sing that song spontaneously during our mamak session last time and I loved it. Told her she should give it a try and she did. It was just beautiful, she changed the composition, the style and tempo, something like a slowed-down version of "Since You've Been Gone". Definitely one of the best performances that night. Like Paul Moss said, "In a sea of boring performances, yours was outstanding...". You go girl! Almost everyone performed well that night, and it also marked the debut of our enormous banner campaign. We had lots of fun that night...
With Ching!
Purple-haired Princess!
And now, so that you can actually watch her performance... there are videos!
Here's the smaller and faster-loading version of the video...

The Big Rush
Things went pretty hectic the next week, with me trying to finish as many pages as I can, as quick as I can. Trying to earn myself a "leave early" pass... I gave up on going to see the Pussycat Dolls (you know how much I wanted to see them...), cos when given the choice of seeing Farah or them, Fifi's still my 1st choice. Oh yea, she got her 1st cover, and I'm so so happy that it was me who did it... lots of the staff said it was the prettiest cover ever... (she's gorgeous, isn't she?). I couldn't remember how many times I re-did those pages... it wasn't really perfect, but I tried my best...
Also getting to know the new staff members better... Sock Boon and Awien are such sweet gurls. Very cute & friendly... and Sani too. Friendly chap. There's Susan, who's sometimes very enthusiastic bout her work... okla, I'm doin my best to make sure working life works out for me. Been cooking more often now. Bringing lotsa new stuff to cook, longgok into the fridge (had to make space, there's hardly any. even for eggs!). I admit it's a whole lot more fun to finally be able to cook properly for lunch, and I save money too :)
Still got tons more to say but I'm sleepy liao... next time continue...
PEACE and God Bless,
Aris Tee

Smokey, X-23, Cathay
Wahh... I'm so not up-to-date... too busy, and bad connection is also a factor. There are times when I'm not online for a couple of days or so... anyways I'll just fill up instead of just leaving stuff blank and out-of-date. It's hard to even check on mails, which are rapidly building up... Work is work, rather busy lately, with the additional 8 pages and new format. There's also a new section, Sindrom, which is in BM. Lotsa new staff are filling up and parking space's getting scarce. The 2 new writers, Awien and Sock Boon are rather friendly, I'm trying to make friends wif them... Nice to have friendly new colleagues.
Introducing Smokey
This lil cutie pie is Smokey Robinson, the youngest member of the family. He looks tiny because he IS. Born the smallest from Tina's newest litter of kittens, this lil tot hasn't been growing much until he really scared us. His siblings almost doubled his size. Brought him to the vet for a checkup. The vet said he can't guarantee Smokey's survival, as it's caused by him not really feeding well. So we're now having to force feed him and also give lots of vitamins and special food to make him gain weight. He looks a lil better lately, but we're not taking chances. It's good though, to see him playing around and walking now...
This is an older pic...
After a bath...
The rest of the family having a feast...
Woohoo... X-23 Trade!
Yahoo... bought the trade paperback version of X-23. It tells the story of X-23's origins and how she came to be. For those who don't know, X-23 is one of my fav X-Men characters (actually THE favourite). She so awesomely cool. Agile, violent, sexy... haha... okla, just me talking because I'm a big X-Men fan. Rather upset that there isn't any news of a possible appearance of her in the movies. I mean, if even Gambit couldn't make it to the big screen, what are her chances. Well, I still have some wishful thinking as they are making the next installment now which is focussing on Wolverine (she's an improved, female clone of him, no?)... Oh ya, the comic ROX btw...
Chong's Comin!
Yay! My bestest friend is coming to town today! Yahooooo! I'm so super excited... haven't seen him in like 2 years or so. Wished Boon-Boon could come over too. Looking forward to the next couple of days :D
Cathay Rulez
Went to Cathay at Cineleisure Damansara during the weekend and I say it totally rocks! Well, it was a Saturday night and the place was packed! I still dun get why people are not willing to pay RM1 and park inside. I mean, there was even a Porsche 911 parked by the road outside. And inside, they only go round the 1st 2 floors of parking. B2 is empty! Weird eh... Anyways, the place was huge, and took us some time before we reached the cinema. The whole place is super modern and HUGE. The aircond was super cold and there were lots of queue lines. Watched The Fast and the Furious : Tokyo Drift... 1st row from the screen, but thankfully Cathay interior designers were smart enough to think of leaving space between the 1st row and the screen. Oh, and the movie rocked btw... totally super and full of action and believe it, emotion... A definite recommend and MUST WATCH. I wanna watch again but I dun think there are that many shows left screening... Anyway, after the show thought of meeting up wif Fifi since she the hotel she was staying at was just across the road. But she was in Subang, so we headed back.
Ads on the escalators...
The cinema...
Can't talk much, maybe later on... Can't wait for this Friday. Gonna make it real good... Watch 8TV at 9.30pm, 21/07/2006...

Entrata del Blog
Sorry bout the title... no idea what to call this entry. Btw, net at home's really bad... haven't been able to connect for more than 10 minutes at a time, and the rest of the time is spent refreshing and refreshing, to no avail... if only TMNet's hotline's easier to reach... >.< Oh well, using office connection for now... the house comp needs an upgrade too, RAM and hard disk space... which means $$$. Sobs... and here I am saving up for my digicam and the Alfa's suspension arm... anyways...
Makbul Episode II
We met up at Makbul again recently... a small group of us, after initially supposed to meet up at 1U. Some of us haven't met up in ages, namely Ostro and Kuaci. We met up at Makbul so that Munchie could join us. Had some discussion on songs and so on... and lots of fun chat and also singing among us (to refresh song tunes). It was fun despite having only a few of us... We're all hoping for Farah to have a good journey through One in a Million, so everyone were so full of spirit. Wasn't really a long meet, and soon we were on our way home. Oh ya, Fifi got herself a new digicam, now boasting that she doesn't need to borrow mine anymore. Eleeeehhhhhhh~ hahaha....
Ostroey~
Kak Zai, Munchie, Kak Angah...
Ulee, Jooser, Farah...
Makan roti canai~

Me and Fifi...
Funny group shot...
New Section in MT
Yeah, our company's paper is gonna have a new section. One of it is called "Sindrom" or something... sounds awfully weird if you ask me. Reminds me of that useless villain from "The Incredibles"... haha... and we have new staff too, an editor, and 2 writers (maybe more?). Hmm... one of the new writer's really cute. Haha... but they're still shy, not talking that much... yet. We'll see how it goes. Hmm... Malaysian Today with 16-pages in BM?
Ok, I'd like to cover OIAM's Second Chance show, which I managed to catch live... but I need the photo from someone. *ehem* (haha... it's ok. take your time k.) Lots of people talking bout the results... but whatever it is, here's hoping the show will go on well...

Wheeeeeeeeeeee~
I guess I've been lifted up this morning... "u md my day ;)" yeah, so did u... :) Such a nice feeling to start the morning. Ok, lotsa stuff to catch up on... Let's start somewhere...
Superman Rox!Managed to catch the premiere screening of Superman Returns, and I must say the movie rocked, the whole length of the 2-and-a-half-hour-long movie. This one has lots of emotion, more action and moreover, it's Superman seen in a whole new way. The way it could have only been imagined decades ago... The hovering, seemless flight, the tremendous showing of power, the sensational feel of speed (check out the sonic boom!)... this is Superman in a way you're never experienced before. And for Lex, haha... the villain we all love to hate. He's alot darker, more evil this time around, louis vuitton handbags but he's always dressed to kill, oozing with cool-ness. Lois on the other hand, big change in character in her... no longer that clumsy, more serious, and actually able to let Superman go. Well perhaps being a mum changed her. But gosh, this movie is so good, the storyline is the bomb... sure some super-purists will not agree on stuff like the costume, but even a big fan like me was impressed, and ended up cheering at the airplane scene, which I must say was among the best combination of emotion and effects I've ever seen. Shouldn't go too much into it, but everyone and I mean EVERYONE SHOULD watch Superman Returns. (Marlon Brando even has an appearance!) Kudos to Singer for making Superman the movie he deserves. Excellent follow-up to Superman II with Christopher Reeve.
Fun @ The Curve
Ok this is a really old thingy, but I guess I'll just have a mention on it... We went to The Curve recently for TM Net's Bluehyppo concert... Mainly to catch Fifi's performance, but there were also V.E., Ruffedge, and a couple of others... Munchie was wild and cute as usual, sporting a new tan from her recent trip to Bangkok. She looked so pretty that day.... It was pretty fun, and Farah was the highlight of course. She looked real tired. She didn't get enough sleep the night before. After the show it was so funny that we were advising each other to get enough sleep. Well, split later on as she went on to Join Elisha who just came back from the UK. Me, Ulee, Joosing, Vashan, David and Jeremy went to Di Kayu for a drink after that. Had the most interesting dish... Roti Tisu Di Kayu Special... it was more than a metre tall, and tasted wonderful. All of us were able to share it... super! It was quite a fun-filled day, more of the pics here http://raptorclans.multiply.com/photos/album/50
BlueHyppo sure knows how to party!

Fifi doin her thing~
Effortless performance~
Ulee, Syahira, Munchie, Jooser, me...
After the show~
Now ain't that tall?
Woohoo~
TF Trailer is out!
Yup, everyone should have heard by now... it's in the papers, mags, etc... The teaser trailer for Transformers : The Movie is out. You can't really see much, but Michael Bay says that nothing will make it into the movie. It's like something to stir up excitement, something like Spiderman's World Trade Center teaser...
Farah is da Bomb with Pupus
Yup, those who caught One in a Million last Friday wouldn't have missed Farah's superb performance. Now that the episode has aired, no more hiding spoilers. Hehe... she was down with flu and sore throat, and wasn't well up to the time she went up the stage. Miraculously, her running nose stopped. She performed her version of 'Pupus' by Dewa19... and what a rendition it was. It had much more depth than the original, and if there is a person who can sing better than an original, it would be Fifi. She made it her own, with lots of emotion and summed it up with a really smart ending. It may be the shortest performance at 1 minute plus, but I reckon it was among the best that night. Went she went into chorus and the excellent crescendo, i almost went to tears as I was simply so proud of her. She has come a long way, and from what I saw, she's already worth more than a million bucks. It sounds super in live. Seriously... somehow alot of the contestants' performances paled a bit when it went on tv... Anyhow, hoping Cindy and Ching can get through into the Top-12 tonight. Here's hoping... As for Fifi, I'm wif you all the way...
