Hmm... this blog's 2nd anniversary coming soon... But doesn't feel like much...
That Feeling Inside
Anyways, what's up... hmm... well, went out with "her" recently. Yeah, haven't met her for quite some time. It went ok... she was with her fiancee. It was an odd feeling at 1st, but I guess time sort of made me stronger. I was able to hold myself together better, things went fine. We joked, chatted as usual... hmm... maybe I was a lil too sarcastic at times, a lil over with the jokes... but she took it well. I admit it was hard to watch them together, so close, in each other's arms, all lovey-dovey... but I have to face it, it's their life now, not mine... this is a chapter I have to close... and judging from how things are, I guess I'm almost through it. I wanted her to be happy, and she IS happy... so shouldn't I be happy? Yup, I should...
Someone once said... love means... letting go. And letting go... I shall.
Perhaps... maybe 1 year from now, I'll look back on this day, and I'll say to myself, "what was that all about?". And perhaps laugh about it... Perhaps.
PEACE and God Bless,

The Transformers Teaser Entry
The Transformers Teaser Entry
Well, it's been a few days after all the hype of the 1st teaser trailer for Transformers... there are a few surprises, a few expected stuff, and (thankfully) some footage of the robots kicking ass... it's expected to ship with Night at the Museum, but there are complaints that certain places don't screen it. Instead, you'll see either Spiderman 3, Shrek 3 or Fantastic Four 2. Anyways, there's info that somewhere in the trailer there's a hidden message. I'll leave it to you to find out. There are sightings of Bumblebee, Starscream, Blackout, Optimus Prime, Barricade, Bonecrusher and (rumored) Ironhide. Most of the trailer looks good... I admit I expected too much, but it looks promising... My job as a long-time fan is to fuel the hype, so that the 2 sequels can see the light of day... this movie's gonna be bad-ass... (too bad we can't have Scarlett Johansson in it...)
Screen Caps
Some pics to bring more excitement~
A Protoform lands on Earth...
Transformer Protoform...
What can send tanks flying?
That's gonna give you nightmares...
Blackout transforming...
That's one mean blast...
Yeah... the scene everyone has seen... Scorponok
Yeah... you know who that is! XD
Chevrolet getting lots of exposure...
It's Bumblebee... with a facemask
That's one kick-ass transformer...
Now this is getting mushy...
Starscream in a chase scene...
Blackout looking real mean...
Is that what I think he's holding on to...?
Mikaela (Megan Fox) sure is kinda cute...
Ooh... you know what comes next right?
My Little Pony!
"Who's your daddy?"
When the title comes out, you'll hear a phrase (only on the Official Site)
Can't wait for the 4th of July!
Ultra-cool transforming numbers...
Now that brings chills, doesn't it?
The Teaser TrailerOk, here's the trailer so you can watch... note that the Official Site's trailer has a nice surprise at the end...

Back-dated Blogging...
I seem to be always doing back-dated blogging... well, better late than never rite? XD
PC Fair 2006 III
Yup, went to PC Fair recently... yeah, packed like sardines... took the car, went four gazillion rounds around the KLCC area. All entrances were closed, KL Convention Centre included... omG it was horrible... but managed to park in Avenue K. Thank God... well, did some shopping, got myself a few stuff... OK, let's let the photos do the talking...
Passing by KLCC LTR Station...
Suria KLCC
Yups... that's a Smilodon alright...
Macam sardines...
Razer Krait
Smilodon waiting to be assembled...
*Edit* It's just been assembled, will post updates soon...
Petronas Twin Towers
Sometimes because we live in Malaysia, we take for granted certain places that people travel half the globe just to get a glimpse of. Me for one, pass by the Petronas Twin Towers everyday on my way to and back from work. That night after PC Fair, I took a look and snapped some pics, and gosh... this structure is a thing of beauty...
Waiting for the Teaser Trailer
Yeah, I was one of the millions who actually waited for the new Teaser Trailer of Transformers to be screened online. Imagine the excitement when Wednesday came as it was D-Day... then opening up your browser and finding out this...
Huh? 13 hours remaining to Wed 20th? But it's past noon here!!! Dammit~
Anyways, I watched it 1st thing in the morning, and I must say it rocks! Not perfect, but enough to generate the excitement it needs for the movie. By the way, it broke all records and is officially the MOST DOWNLOADED trailer of ALL TIME. Will blog on that soon...
PS: Merry Christmas Everyone!

Gwoemul
Gwoemul
Those of you who haven't watched the movie The Host (aka Gwoemul), you guys don't know what you're missing... it's probably one of the best movies to come out of Korea (land of BoA and kimchi) ever... What grips you is that it goes against your expectations, surprises you and at times, frustrates because it keeps going against what you want to happen (and that can actually be a good thing). What surprises the most is actually the laughs. YES, laughs! It's a thriller-drama-comedy. An odd combination but it works... This movie's rather different and it's entertaining.
The storyline starts with the rather stereotype "dumping of toxic materials into the river"... and years later some fish gets really mutated... but the overall storyline is rather original with lots of twists. The opening scene where the daughter Hyun-Seo (brilliantly played by Ah-sung Ko, really cute lil girl) of lousy father Kang-du (excellently played by blond-haired Kang-ho Song) gets abducted by the giant fish monster has gotta be one of the most disturbing scenes ever... giving hints of things to come. The scene in which the family gets together after they suspected Hyun-Seo died was emotional at 1st, but takes a quirky twist as everyone in the cinema ends up bursting into laughter (watch the movie to see why... lol) and was one of many odd comic elements in the movie. The US as usual will interfere and take things into their own hands... the plot thickens and the monster gets more and more disturbing. Ok I won't give any spoilers... The family members, wise grandfather Hie-bong (brilliant acting by Hie-bong Byeon), drunk and hot-tempered uncle Nam-il (played by Hae-il Park), slowpoke Olympic medallist archer aunt Nam-ju (played by supercute Du-na Bae) are well portrayed, and you can't help but feel for them, as they go all-out in search for Hyun-Seo.. The monster is so alive... it likes, breathes, crawls, swings, swims, eats, vomits... um... you get the idea. Kudos to the animation team for a wonderful job on it. It may not be perfect, but it's as good as Korean movies get. The messages spread in this movie are clear and good, reflecting much of things going on in the world today... and the bond between family members, the emotions are all well displayed. The acting is good, the special effects top notch... what else can I say?
This is a MUST WATCH!

Interesting Trivia: The event described in the beginning of Gwoemul is based on an actual event. In February 2000 in a US military facility located in the center of Seoul, US military civilian employee Mr. McFarland ordered to dispose formaldehyde into the sewer system leading to Han River despite the objection of a Korean subordinate. Korean government attempted to prosecute Mr. McFarland in Korean court but US military refused to hand over the custody of Mr. McFarland to the Korean legal system. Later, a Korean judge convicted Mr. McFarland in absentia. Public enraged at the Korean government's inability to enforce its law on its own soil. In 2005, nearly five years after the original incident, Mr. McFarland was finally found guilty in Korean court in his presence. He never served the actual prison sentence, however. No sighting of mutant creature has been reported in Han River, yet... XD
