Laughter is the Best Medicine

Okay, yesterday was quite an okay day. One of the nicer days I've had in a while... had so many laughs over so many silly jokes and one-liners with Val. Haha... never had so much fun with a person since Chong. She sure is one funny girl. :-p Well, at least this keeps us off the workload, which I admit is still rather much. And I heard they're not ready to accept any new people at the moment, so that'll be pressure on us. chanel handbags Easing up the pressure makes working life much lighter... Angi went off early, because she has her usual Monday class. If not she could have joined in on the crappy fun... hee hee...

Not much to say today really... well, today's issue cover has a creepy image of Glazer looking like a demon. Nightmarish stuff... but the funny part was that in the original image he looked rather... joyful. haha... sifu terror lei... Went to Lotus for lunch yesterday, i didn't know there was one nearby... Not bad really, and now there's one extra choice for lunch...

Oh well, better not blabber too much since there's nothing to say... Did some research online on car rear speakers and subwoofers, as I hope to get one of them in the near future... Alpine speakers look the real deal, as for the subs, the Kenwood ones look rather good, though Alpine kicks ass too... Hope this can ease the unbalanceness of the car's audio setup.

I Saw Darth Maul in a Toilet!

Okay, quite an eventful week... a lot of ups and downs, but mostly downs... Sigh. Not much I can do at the moment, I can only pray that things would get better. Learning to be strong is not an easy task, but I'm going to face it in the eye so that don't have any regrets later. I've been through a lot of hardships in the past, so I'm not gonna back down this time. Hard to explain really, and only few of my close friends know what I mean.

Okay, spent quite a bit this weekend, it was quite painful financially. Because it's hard-earned money, it was a little tough to fork it out. But since it's for someone special, I guess it's okay. Love is blind, as some might say. The weekend was quite a rush, and I couldn't get to watch Kingdom of Heaven.. sigh. But there was some time to check out the Brother's HQ in Kelana Jaya. Damn, that's one huge accessory shop. They have almost everything there. The focus was to get a third brake light and an antennae. There was only enough time for the brake, so I was recommended to get a Hella white one. It was rather cool, it looks white/chrome when off, and shines bright (and I really mean BRIGHT) red when lit. Was more expensive than the rest, but what matters is the quality, as I'm replacing the faulty LED Sign one I currently have fitted on. The new one consists of 12 LED bulbs, 6 on a row. There were a few antennae designs, but I guess I'll drop by some other time. Also saw a Kenwood woofer for RM168. Rather expensive but might be a worthwile investment in the future. My rear speakers are of a higher priority, having being drowned by the new Boschmann speakers and tweeters up front. Anyway, Project 155's doing fine...

This week's gonna get real exciting, I hope. There's our free tickets to the premiere of Revenge of the Sith, which I really really can't wait. Hee hee... Tagging my bro along. Feel a lil sad for Angi, as I heard from her a bit later that she was hoping that I'd let her lil bro watch too with my extra ticket. Sigh, if only there were more... but we're considered rather lucky, because I saw photos in The Star, showing people lining up until outside the building hoping to get a ticket. And you bet I'll be watching this movie a few times... hehe. Similar to the multiple times I watched The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. And the screening of the special edition original trilogy... was WAY cool. Of course, there's the original trilogy in video which I have watched to death. haha...

Speaking of Star Wars, I saw Darth Maul in a toliet! I was going to the loo in Mid Valley on Sunday when suddenly this dark figure came and was adjusting his hood. Dark, tattooed face with horns and menacing eyes... Haha... then there was Obi Wan Kenobi wearing shades and had a really awesome (I mean really AWESOME) lightsaber that looks 80% like the real thing. Amazing how advancements in technology have enabled us to create. I guess they're part of some promotion, louis vuitton handbags because their costumes were way too accurate to be fan-made. Or maybe they're really diehard fans? Anyway, since the lightsaber's so cool, I might wanna get one. My bro's eyeing it too. A regular columnist in The Malay Mail also stated she bought one after seeing it in action.

Oh well, here's to a good week ahead, two birthdays and a blockbuster movie. I pray to the Lord that all goes well and he guides me through.

Painful Times and Premiere Tix...

A number of things are occuring in my life right now... well, stress at work is one thing, and I'm sure I can handle that. A fren of mine is also having some problems with workload, but I'm goin to do my best to lessen the burden. Because nobody deserves to be worked so hard like that... But what troubles me now most is something I don't even dare to write about. It's the sheer amount of pain it causes me, to find out something you just didn't want to find out, to know that a dream that's just too hard to achieve, even though you try so damn hard. For me, well, I might have encountered emotional pains in the past, many in fact. True, these hurt like shit but I moved on, I have faith that I can carry on, and that there are friends who support me no matter what. God bless them, they know who they are... thanks for all your help and comfort. Lets just put it this way, I'm no quitter. Never was, and I am someone who won't just sit and let destiny run its course. If there's something I try hard to achieve, I'm not a person who plays games. I know what's my aim, and I will try. God knows how hard I try, and I won't stop until there's just no hope. But I understand the laws of give and take. There's no point in just giving and not receiving, but I don't wish for anything in return, and my close friends should understand what I mean. I just wish for people to be happy, because to me, I take it by putting myself in their shoes. How'd they feel, what would they want. And I act accordingly. Because most of the time I've been there, done that. I know how it feels, so that's how I do things. Well, if you don't quite understand this, it's okay, just move on to the next paragraph... All I intend to do is, like a good friend of mine put it, "Just wait and see, be cool and don't let it take over your life. If it's meant to be, it will.". Thanks my friend, you know who you are. Okay, I don't wanna get all gloomy just because of my personal problems... Jessie told us she's gotten us tickets to watch the premiere of Revenge of the Sith! GOLD CLASS! Woo Hoo... she's such a nice CEO, isn't she? :-) Well, I know me, Val and Angi are in the list... I'm just so excited. Allan's coming too I think, I know he wants it so badly too... I hope we're gonna have a great time, and I'll sweep all my worries away... But then again, it's a tragic, violent and sadistic movie, so I don't really know... :-p I just wanna have a good time watching a movie I've been really looking forward to. Wonder how we're gonna go to the cineplex... big convoy of cars? hehe...

Hmm... what else... Angi's birthday's coming real fast. Well, I need to get her something, but not having the time is really the main problem, hopefully this weekend. Okay, better not go too far, in case she's reading this. Hee hee... There's Chong's one too, 3 days after... my, there goes my pay... but it's for a good cause, and it's for people who mean a lot to me, so it's okay I guess... once in a blue moon, as I might say...

Went looking at an accessory shop yesterday, to gauge the price range of things I might consider upgrading. Well, mainly the third brake light. Wanna replace my current LED one with something of higher quality. The silly shop fella recommended me a Proton Saga one. Haiya... but the LED one was way too long and too mengada. So I didn't want them. Then he showed me a neon light beam, you know, the ones for putting underneath your car... he said it could be used inside too. No way dude, an interior looking like a club on a Saturday night just isn't for me... haha. Too Ah Beng la~ Was looking for a woofer too, but they're so UGLY! I don't want a giant box lying in my gorgeous 525-litre boot... Have to survey around. And he was going on about needing to have an amplifier if you wanna fix a woofer. I mean, hello... I DO have an amplifier, that's why I'm looking for a woofer. Haha... Costs quite a bit, but then again, I don't intend to splash cash like that. I'm a saving-up sorta person... Need an alarm system too, chanel handbags don't think my Trojan warrior axe steering lock is enough for car security... Even though 155s are not usually aimed by car theives, but it's always good to be safe. Didn't look at the steering area, cos my dad's giving me his Momo... Haha, I just looked around but I didn't buy anything. Will get just one thing at the end of the month, based on priority...

Mum's Day, Guess Who, Chicken Rice Shop, TV Page, Tyres and Photos

Hmm... haven't been writing for a couple of days...

Okay, last weekend was Mother's Day. Lets just say I had a great time and spent the weekend bonding with my mum and catching up on happenings of the week. There were lots of funny stories and chatter and I'm not gonna write it down here... Took my mum and family to watch Guess Who. Paid by me of course, now that I'm earning... The movie was really funny, and we laughed so much! If you haven't watched it, you'd better! It's really cool how they make a comedy based on inter-racial relationships... Then later in the evening, I belanja dinner at the Chicken Rice Shop. Was nice, but a little upmarket. Overall we had a great time...

Work's the usual, busy, but I guess I'm able to handle it... I guess things are starting to settle down, and I dun get it, I'm getting the TV page every issue nowadays! Used to be Angi's responsibility, but I guess I dun mind cos I dun wanna see her with red eyes doing it. chanel handbags At least I'm getting faster in doing it... Val's really good, and I see her busy all the time, which sometimes makes me wonder whether she really doesn't want any help, or is she just keeping it to herself... Anyway, today's paper is out, nice to see that my vector finally makes it into a printed media... haha... Must read it later...

The new tyres are really good, and I must say I've never driven a car on such quiet rubber... And it's also the first time any of the cars at home got fitted with sports performance tyres, so it's a cool experience. And it'll be memorable, because I used my first pay on it... My dad finally found out about my Alfa, and he's showing alotta interest, being an Alfa enthusiast himself. He told me he's gonna donate his Momo steering wheel to me. Used to be on his 1980 Alfa Romeo Alfetta. :-p

I've been posting a lotta photos on Multiply recently, and I must apologise to those who're watching me, if they receive tons of notifications... sorry... it won't be like this all the time :-p

A Tale of Tyres and Friends

Okay, it's been quite tiring these last few days... haven't gotten enough sleep, working late hours, not much time to chit chat... but life still goes on...

Tyres finally gave way, with a puncture when me, Allan and Harris were going out for lunch. We noticed it when we were eating and looking at the car. The rear driver's side tyre was totally flat. I slowly drove it back to the office (it was nearby, so it was okay. don't do this if you don't know what you're doing, as you may damage your rims). When at the office, I started attempting to replace it with the spare. louis vuitton handbags Angi borrowed me a spanner from her Wira. Well, there was a little shock back then, as I forgot about the difference between the PCD 98 of an Alfa and the PCD 100 of a Wira... The spanner just turned without any effect to the nut! Well, me and Harris were stuck there like some bengang people. Then Harris told me that there was an Esso nearby in Jalan Ampang that could service tyres. So he took his manual pump and pumped my rubber to add in some air. I drove quickly but carefully to the shop, which changed the wheel to the spare, but said there was no tyre size (as expected, I guess 195/60 R14 are really rare...). But he said I could slam in a set of 185/60 R14s... but would look a little narrow. I told him thanks for the help, but I'm not changing the rubber. Drove back to the office and later in that day, slowly drove back home, as the red spare could only do a max of 50MPH or 80KMH...

Today managed to find our way to Stanford Tyres in Glenmarie. Was quite tough to find, but it was worth it, as they had the correct tyre size, with 3 patterns, and tons of rims to stare at... Chose the Falken Azenis ST15, as it was recommended by the dealer, and it was RM30 cheaper per tyre than the Falken Ziex ZE512 that I was eyeing... Apparently it was quiter and more durable. Later I found out it was a high performance tyre (I mean, I should have noticed the 'Azenis' name sooner, which is normally associated with street racing). It had a way cool design with 2 rows of water channels and the word 'Azenis'embossed in the groves! Awesome... and well, the car was nothing like I've ever felt, driving smoothly and quitely... Guess I made the right choice. Yeah, of course it meant a lot to me, it came from my paycheck! Read some more in the brochure that it has a base thread rubber that holds 60 million pieces of micro vaccum capsules to cut road noise. Whatever... Guess I'm not going to be eyeing any 17-inchers for a couple of years...

Been updating my Multiply photo pages, there's tons more to come, but there's no time to upload... might consider a nostalgic 'College Photos' section someday. haha... We're all also laughing at Allan's photo eating the cake... It must be the funniest photo ever taken! Haha... Go check it out...

As for the workplace, well... pretty busy, but we do have our happy moments. I must say having Val and Angi as working collegues would be one of the best things God could have given me for my first job. For that I'm very thankful. There's probably no dull moment, with the endless chat topics and funny stuff we do. And the occasional fulat jokes with Allan. Angi's been wearing glasses for a number of days. I told her she looks cute, like a scholar, but she doesn't believe me. She's probably a little shy when wearing glasses instead of contacts I guess... And Val, she's such a nice person. I mean, she's really nice, but she can be quirky too. And that's a real interesting feature about her. Never saw that in college though. hee hee...I'm just so happy to have them as my friends. Oh, and there's Ray too. He can be subtle most of the time, but when he strikes, haha... things like the Fulat Lifestyle cover comes out...

Hmm... what else... donno la, I'm wanting to watch Kingdom of Heaven... and not forgetting Episode III is less than 2 weeks away! Well, hope this sorta things can get me off the reality of the pains I'm experiencing. Maybe it's God's way of making things work, I'll just trust Him and hope he guides me to the right path.
